Have you ever had trouble practicing in a shared space? How do you manage that situation?

Hi Allen, great video. Which model Whisper Room is that? They have a bunch of different models on the site, so I was trying to see which one is appropriate for practicing saxophone. Thanks!

Hey, this is a 4x6 WhisperRoom. I’d say that I have just enough space to be comfortable practicing and recording videos with this model.

If you got a big enough closet or pantry, get some acoustic sound pads and put them in the walls of the closet or pantry. Then you have a mini practice room

Thank you Allen. I just received my Saxmute One. Do you have any recommendations for mic and headphones to use with the Saxmute One?
@AllenMusicTalk3 жыл бұрын
Hey Martin! I prefer to use wired mics over wireless so that I don’t have to recharge all of the time. This is the one that I use: amzn.to/3J70iPo

If you do that, get some hearing protection cause you can permanently fuck your ears up.

Thanks for the video ! Could you expand on the system you use to hear what you play through your phone? How do you connect the microphone to your phone? Do you need an interphase between both? If yes, what should this interphase do ? Any recommendation regarding the equipment needed is welcome ! Thanks !

Terrific video man. Well worth having made. Didnt know about the "shisper room" . Best solution for any type of home. Essentially a portable closet. Maybe not's not portable. :) But doable for most people. Would be excellent for any type of hand-held instrument....brass or woodwind. ...perhaps not a woodwind bass...heh...not sure how much space there is in one of these "rooms).. Do you have a link for the Whisper Room?
@AllenMusicTalk2 жыл бұрын
Hi Anderson, this is their website: whisperroom.com/ They definitely have different sizes of rooms, so these can be useful to anyone with the space to install one.
