I've been watching your videos for the last week. I've had my new bike for 30 days and only get to ride on my Permit during daylight hours and only for a couple of hours each weekend. I find your videos to be very good. With roughly 8 hours of riding time, I've seen a major improvement in my confidence and skills. This morning ( 4/3/21 ) I felt ready to get into heavy town traffic and on the Highway. My ride went very well, always had an exit, kept looking 12 seconds ahead and even found myself at traffic lights being the first in line. My take-offs are smooth and controlled my ride was much more fun and I found myself at my jobs parking lot for the first time on this bike. I just felt compelled to give a thanks to you for the lessons. God Bless.

I love all of the videos you post and all the practice session footage Robert :) This one, however, had me cringing every time for the riders as they attempted u-turns and figure 8's lol. The one thing constant that I heard as they struggled,, and in some cases, just before their bike hit the ground, was the change in acceleration volume. They had for the most part lost their sense of the friction zone. Each one was doing their best as they approached the exercises, and I know in time they will all master them thanks to you. its funny watching Ole Bill in the background trying to practice R & L turns in between his unsuccessful attempts. Except he isn't doing himself any justice making those wide turns because he isn't challenging himself to step outside his comfort zone of leaning his bike enough of being scared to fall over...haha! Also, it seems to me, if he could ever grasp the concept of NOT looking down while turning. It's like a daredevil walking a tightrope, they never look down because it throws their balance off. Robert, just watched your new video with the Daytona bike you bought in Daytona. just a point your wife needs to get you a bull horn for your next gift so the pre loaders can hear you.

I'm wondering what I did wrong when I burned my clutch. I was practicing your manuevers. I preloaded, worked the brake and rode slowly.

I have no clue. How old is your motorcycle? Are you the 1st owner?
@jesusacovarrubias13903 жыл бұрын
@@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle is there a point in slow manuevers that a rider could use too much clutch-break combination? I'm the second owner of a 2010 Yamaha Royal Star Venture and my bike has 20k miles. Jesus
@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle3 жыл бұрын
@@jesusacovarrubias1390 well every part on our motorcycles has an expiration date. Now that you will be replacing the clutch, you will be able to gauge the lifespan of it more accurately. Yes you can pretty much over use anything and of course that includes your clutch and your rear brakes.

Hey Lieutenant you ever think of getting chalk and chalk out to Course so they know where to put their tires when to turn
@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle3 жыл бұрын
Yeah James I think of a lot of stuff, but it starts to be a bit too much. Plus I don't want to start marking up the ground and give anyone a reason to give us a problem practicing out there.

I noticed Tony is cheating himself on the rr collision..haha! if he turns to his left he gets on the left side of the cones instead of the center stripe and vice versa
