Am I the only person who loves the long zipper tails? It’s probably because of my arthritic and nerve damaged hands, these help me out so much! Also, can’t wait for the tutorials on the Guardian anti-theft backpack and the Tremont crossbody bag! Hope that you have a nice time doing Disney marathon and focus on you and the excitement more than the early wake-up call!

Hi Jessica, thank you for getting me interested in bag making I can’t wait to start making them with vinyl. I have a Bernina 480 and I am looking for thin vinyl that I can sew with out breaking any needles ( not that I haven’t busted any on my machine well let’s say that pins and supper thick fabric don’t mix let’s say that I have only busted a feeeeeew ). Yes I am looking for recommendations and websites that I can purchase decent vinyl at a good price. I am planning on the boxy bags that joy did a tutorial a while back . Thank you again and good luck on your marathon! I

Wow! You just blew my mind with the zipper ends! I avoid patterns that have the veered zippers because I always mess them up. Great tip! This bag looks like the bags Lorelai has in Gilmore Girls that tuck right below the underarm. I love that style. I'll try this with a shoulder strap and see if that works.

I love this pouch! What a great quick project! I used the same material types as you did and just LOVE what I created. I didn’t bother with a strap and used a metal zipper end. No issues with the gussets and love the shape. Thanks for this great tutorial ❤️

I have learned I like to rivet the zipper tab to the outside. Typically 1" down from the top of the bag. Keeps the zipper from flapping around and makes it easier to zip up.
@jaytopham85142 жыл бұрын
Hi Leslie, yes I'm not sure about that long zipper tab. I thought that they're typically left long to help bags open wider but this pouch is not a wide one. It still looks good but I love your idea of a rivet to hold it in place.
