For Everyone who complained about the added sounds in the original video and argued about it for beeing fake: Here you have it. He can actually play the song live and it still sounds amazing without anything added.

+Fannix - piano & loopstation I was one of the ones that complained. I never said it was fake though. The added sounds and overdubs just looked off. I watched the original many times and the conclusion I arrived is that he recorded the video and audio separately and composed them together, which is fine, but makes it look weird or 'fake' as you put it. All that said, this live version is 100 times better than the old one.

+Diogo Vincenzi since the studioversion has half a band in it, it was obvious that it wasnt played alone like in the video, but everyboy knew that.

+Fannix - piano & loopstation I didn't mind the added sounds, but the fact that the original was accelerated made it sound weird. It's possible that at the time, he wasn't ready to play it at this tempo but was too excited to share it so he recorded a slower version and set a higher playback speed.

Even if you want to fake something, if you can't play the piece or have the command of the instruments you can't even fake stuff. Dubbing for music video is A STANDARD PRACTICE for shooting vids. Your little dream idol Bieber has dubbed music videos... WOW SMDH. Performers who can do live show is the real deal, studio artists can always alter stuff like autotuning and sound engineering imperfections.

When people say his videos are fake, then that's a kind of honor for him. Because it was so good that people with very little or no idea about the art couldn't just digest the fact that it was in fact real and played by one man. Peter Bence is surely the Beethoven or Mozart or whatever of this generation and a true lover of the art will undoubtedly support his journey there is no question about that. Go on master!! You are great. We are blessed to have a master like you on the youtube from whom we can learn.

Heh, I think plenty of people already know :) And to answer your question... any decent high-school piano student, who has practiced his/her etudes dilligently and dabbled in some Liszt, could play this; none of his arrangements are supernaturally difficult. But they can't play them with the same crispness and lightness as he does; that's what's truly amazing about him.

For the Octave patterns, It's about wrist control and keeping everything light and flexible and only creating enough tension to play the notes you need. I recommend looking at Chopin's Black key etude. While the octave style patterns are in the right hand the same technique is needed. Can also practice moving up octaves etc. You can do it, it's just learning the technique!

This is a great performance. As someone who plays piano, produces music and works with video, I can say this is the only video I've seen of Peter Bence that's not over-dubbed. By that I mean almost all his videos are pre-recorded as audio. The piano playing you see is not the same as the original recording, but it looks real enough. The audio recording is perfected through editing. The video performance is relaxed because it's not real (it's played over the original recording). If you play piano you'll notice the differences between this version and his live version
