Absolutely love that you post these open practice videos. Everyone will say “talented” or “magical” but that totally negates the incredible amount of very hard work that goes into even the most pedestrian music. Not even to the extent that you work in every little detail. It certainly pays off, and is inspirational for musicians everywhere to see you do all this. Bravo, maestro!

You are built to play. I'm a former cellist and I think you're the best that ever lived. Truly. I was never more blown away by a performance. It was Variations on a Rococo Theme. I like your cello but felt you deserve a still better instrument- I feel you need a cello that has more immediate response- or maybe the soundpost needed an adjustment-
