Linda, I wanted to tell you I'm 79 years old. I always wanted to go to New England but didn't happen. I'm so happy to see New England through your eyes. It makes me feel like I'm right there. I'm so. Grateful for you. I enjoy and can't wait to see each Sunday. Your videos, thank you. You're a very special person.

Hello to You, I'm 78 and a widow Enjoy also going along with Linda on her adventurers too. I live in the Mid central USA on a quite homestead. Linda is so grounded that so many can relate to her Kindred Sprit. Sending Warm Fuzzies to a fellow Sprit during these days in remembering the past also where you could get a cup of coffee for ten cents with free refills. ☕☕☕☕🌞🌞🍍🍍

I am also 79. After enjoying last week's video on naming houses, my husband and I have had fun coming up with a list of possible names for our home. We are close to choosing a favorite and want to have 2 brass name plaques made for installation on our front driveway pillars. Thank you for your ideas. I love your channel.

That’s so funny, my sister bit in a wax apple at my grandmother’s when she was little. My grandma wrapped it up and gave it to her as a wedding shower gift.

I am truly grateful for KZbinrs like you who take us to places we would otherwise miss out on or show us how to’s to make life more enjoyable. I have learned many things from you and am looking forward to many more! I am, of course, grateful for my family and my health, but those are always a give in! Have a wonderful week, Linda, as I am grateful for Sundays with you!

Good morning Linda. I'm greatful just to wake up to a new day as I grow older & suffer with my aches & pains. I loved the video of the lightning through the beautiful clouds. I miss a good summer thunderstorm. The smell of it rolling in. Don't see many in California. 😢 I miss the east coast & am sorry I left. It's just so beautiful & historical ❤❤ God has blessed you.❤

Just a consideration, if you cut those pines you will greatly increase the wind that hits your property since they are on the western side (the prevailing wind direction side) and have the height and girth to disperse the wind. You wont be grateful if the gardens you put your heart and soul into keep getting flattened by the wind.

Hi Linda! What an interesting, visually beautiful segment this is. Love your side trips to quaint places…..so happy they still exist. To think the Inn you showed was moved from Boston to New Hampshire and put together piece by piece; it reveals the ingenuity, tenacity, bravery, hard work, and grit of people so many years ago. Amazing that it is still used and enjoyed today. The “cloud show” was phenomenal. Thank you again for providing pleasant, informative and lovely content! So much in life to be grateful for!

I am grateful for you and your channel Linda. For years I had my nose to the grindstone as a single Mother my life was work, home, then back again. There was absolutely NO time for play, exploration and certainly no money. I have had a lifelong interest in traditional decor, New England, and the history surrounding the Revolutionary period. When I discovered your channel I was OVERJOYED to find anyone-yes, SOMEONE with similar interests! I LOVE that you take your followers to so many interesting places that I might never have the opportunity to visit myself. All I can say is my gratitude is immeasurable and I THANK YOU! 😊

Wow Linda I think this is one of your best videos, it was lovely to visit that pretty town, I agree it’s so nice to be able to still have a general store to buy from! So many large outlets now are killing the small towns. That particular store reminded me of ‘ The Walton’s’ .. Ike Godseys Store! Do you remember? ‘ Good Night John Boy’.. So much character in this video. Love the coffee grinder!.. The stunning display of lightening from your home was spectacular, I loved it! Your Father was a wise man, so much to see if you only look up! Thanks Linda, fabulous video!….😊

Linda, my husband & I smiled widely watching the cloud clip since we sat out watching the same "show" for about a half hour until a skunk chased us inside. As a child we referred to it as heat lightening. I'm grateful for my life, so blessed in so many ways. That being said, I'm always grateful for your videos, coffee, watermelon in this heat. Grateful for books, candles, I could go on endlessly. Life is a gift. Enjoy

Oh, so many things I’d love to talk about with you over a cup of that that fresh ground coffee! (I’m grateful for delicious coffee!) Your grinder might have an adjustment on it to make finer grounds. Many do. The knob near the top? About country stores … one of my all time New England favorites is the general store at the Calvin Coolidge Historic Site in Plymouth Notch, VT. In fact, the whole historic village is a gem! And so interesting to learn about President Calvin Coolidge. My dad took me there often when I was young. Thank you for this most excellent video!

Loved this! I have a Post It note in my car that reads “Say out loud every day 10 things you are grateful for”. It can be as simple as “I am grateful that I woke up and my back didn’t hurt” or “I’m grateful I had food in my house for breakfast”. You get the idea. Doing that sets the stage for my attitude that day. Try it.

Hi Linda, my husband and I alway enjoy the subjects you share. I did wanted to share with you something my husband said while we were watching today’s show. He said: ‘’You can use miracle grow to patina your copper fish, thats the process that was done on the Statute Of Liberty when she was rebuilt”. He has done that process himself. Also… the little knobby on the top of your coffee grinder should turn to adjust the size of the grind. Hope that helps. Have a wonderful week!

I moved to Maine last October. It was a lifelong dream and at 50 it finally happened. I moved from Omaha, Ne(a city of nearly 1 million ppl). When I would take my walks back there, I'd rarely look around me. It just wasn't all that pretty. But I've noticed that when I walk here in Maine, I'm always "looking up" as you said, Linda. There are so many gorgeous trees! In the Midwest, there weren't that many but here? Omg. I am still so busy looking up and around me that I've tripped a few times😂. Worth it, though.

You can adjust the grind with the nut on top of the post on your coffee grinder. I have one that belonged to my dear babysitter. She was probably married around 1915. I imagine she acquired the grinder about that time. She was Swedish American and made Swedish coffee with an egg. Her grinder is exactly like, or close to, yours. We love the coffee we grind in it!
