I have at a loss for motivation to practice as of late. I resigned from the main band I have been playing with for the past four years. I think God is moving me in a new direction. I am praying for you're new direction. Sounds like we are in the same boat on that point. Even after I am healed, I don't think I'm ever going back to the gig life I head before. When I'm feeling better I will give you a call like I promised.

The Lord gives rest Ps 127:2 , but he'll get yer butt up also like a good father will do. I have experienced half phrase dyspnea as well. I find the best cure to be long challenging musical phrases. Not counting out long tones, etudes, or other exercises but...... Play skillfully with a loud noise brother!
