Juan, I cringed when you tossed the drawer full of pencils and pens! People collect them and to see the ones you did keep were so cool. At least dump them into a box so another picker might find them... even the crayons and glue could have gone to an after school program or VBS! With teachers in my family I know how hard it is to supply the kids with art stuff, they usually pay for it themselves or grandma's like me pitch in!

Yep, sorry but I just can't watch anymore because there's so much stuff he leaves behind that could be donated. All those good school supplies could of been donated not just tossed back in the trash. Sorry Juan but it really bothers me. Think about donating and not just getting potential high dollar items.

Hi Juan. Was a few minutes into the video and had to stop to comment. "YOU THREW OUT THE CRAYONS....?" Awww man. That made me sad. ☹ Many drivers go out and rescue end of yr school supplies such as that to pass on to the kids. It's well known that many teachers use their own money to buy art supplies for their classrooms. Coulda perhaps been donated at a Blessing Box?...Or a women and children's shelter, daycare,...many places. . (Or a bonus gift w ur FB toy/bike sales.) Art supplies are luxuries amongst poor families. Imho, there was much life left for little fingers in those crayons. Next time tho k?😊👍 Great job rescuing the treasures!

Oh dang...Continued watching and saw you THROW out even MORE usable school supplies! 😰🥶 I CRINGED each time you dumped those trays. Very sad to me.. Glue sticks, notepads, (colorbooks?), markers, pens, pencils....So much waste that could have stayed there in the drawers until they could be passed forward. Any teacher probably would have enjoyed those. 🥀

Hi! The stapler has a long base because you can staple book pages in the center. If needed, those staplers are wonderful to use.

Any pens, pencils, crayons, glue, or other school supplies I find anywhere I give out to kids in all grade levels who don't have school supplies. I am a substitute teacher. Also, I work in retail and oftentimes take my own pens to work and use them when I can't find one at work.

Juan, here's a suggestion about the drawer full of pencils that you have found. Put them in a ziplock bag and donate them to your local schools, or simply donate them to The Salvation Army. But I do love that container that you found the pencils in. They're about $50.00, I would love to run across those, inwould not hesitate to pick those up, and use it for my spice cabinet. Lucky you... Next time donate the pencils. 👩‍🦳👒

The flag you found that says "COON" on it is from SOUTH PARK. Cartman dresses up as the coon to save South Park. If you are uncomfortable selling it, I will gladly take it off your hands. People would drop off their old lawnmowers at my dad. He sometimes took parts from 4 or 5 and build a working condition one to sell for extra money in his pocket. Loved going mowing lawns with him for money in my young age. Good times with dad

Wow...really...all the negative comments about pens and pencils. Why pick up stuff you can't use. Maybe there's no kids in his neighborhood. Maybe schools don't take used pencils and pens i know they dont here...oh he could go through the bin and pick out the new ones...that would be a waste of time. @ Linda, I never heard of ANY subdivision or towns that didn't have kids. No, it was very wasteful that he threw all those school supplies away when there ARE PLENTY OF needful children in the Houston area who would of LOVED to have those who didn't have the luxury to go out and always brand new!! Think about others and not just yourself. He could of bagged them up and sold them all for a couple of bucks at his garage sale. I do like Juan and I know he is a great guy but it was wasteful and not thinking of those in need that the school supplies could of helped.

Few years back needed to downsize my bbq and my old one burner needed to be replaced. I put it to the curb FREE need a new burner. I included the manual and bbq cover. Well within 1/2 hour at the curb a big Hummer truck stopped and put it in his truck. Maybe for the steel or to buy a new burner and use it. I'm sure it did not go in our landfill. We live on a country dirt road in Ontario Canada. I love your show and what you do with the stuff you pickup

Love your videos! But you threw away a ton of useful supplies that would make a teacher, day care provider or mom so happy to have for the kids. I used to buy the scissors, glue, paper, markers, pens and pencils at garage sales when my kids were little. They go through them fast. My suggestion is to bring a grocery bag with you and throw all that stuff in the bag to sort later. It amazes me the expensive items that are thrown out. That is why I always garage sale in the “rich people’s” neighborhood!
