I think Prada really has "NOTHING TO SELL" anymore. Constantly sending out "MORE AND MORE UGLY" collection. In the pass people said Prada is "ugly chic" was a compliment but now people say "UGLY" are "REALLY REALLY REALLY UGLY, "NOT a compliment" anymore.

People who just keep on praising and hail marying Prada every season are in an emperor’s new clothes mentality where they just blindly worship anything they bring out without even really examining the looks. I think there’s some looks and pieces that are nice but to say this whole collection is amazing is a stretch.

Miuccia and her whimsy are slowly fading away it seems. The joy and humor...the Italian quirk...are transmutating into Belgian cynicism. Don't get me wrong, I love Raf. I love his point of view, but I'm not accepting it as a vine that's slowly taking over one of the most prestigious art houses of the past 50 years. The unexpected has become the ubersignature...an aesthetic so pervasive, Prada has seemed like one big collection for the past few years. There are some really standout pieces here. The opening dresses, some of the knits, some of the coats (albeit a little basic, still lux), some really phenomenal bags....and that's about it. The bizarre styling is just that. I understand why they're doing it, but it doesn't resonate with me. Where Miuccia let us in on her journey, Raf always seems to want ultra exclusivity, and I'm not interested in that. Her collections for 2008 really highlight what a singular voice she was. They art, the narrative, the cinematic quality. I hope someone can pick that up because it seems like Miu is done. I just wish Prada would retire with her.

I think the collection is super interesting. It might not be the most beautiful stuff out there, but it definitely makes you think. I'm not sure how well these clothes would actually sell, but there’s something kind of grotesque and uncanny about them, like they’re AI-generated rejects. They really vibe with that chaotic, "everything, everywhere, all at once" feeling of social media and today's cultural zeigeist.

I'm sorry but whats with the cheap venue setting, are those benches with sheets over them? And not one look ate in this entire collection, everything seems out of place, ill-fitting, misproportioned and just generally off, as if a girl in 2010 went to H&M, American Apparel and chose a few poor picks at the second hand store in her suburb, then threw it all together. Also, I thought we were over the whole size 0, cranky walking spiel. Can't believe this is what they envision for 2025

it is the Algorithym. there is no more conceptual clothing, it is the endless stuff we are seeing online pieced together. Only Miuccia and Raf could do this. 10 years ago they were doing winter coats for spring with faces on them. The internet has only gotten more out of control. Prada is fashion's Warhol

Time passes and people grow old, our favourite designers die or retire and the houses that bear their name have to bring in someone new to lead the team. Prada is one of those houses where the collections appear definitely more Raf than Miuccia with each successive season. This is the most extreme example so far. One of the glories of the Miuccia era were her coats: some of the coats in this collection are dire and look like the ones I used to buy in thrift shops back in the 80's. In fact, the whole collection felt like one big thrift shop haul, with it's mixture of eras and styles, something that l would never have said of Prada in the past. I like Raf Simon's work normally but the collaboration, so far, doesn't quite work for me.

Prada is very styled, take apart the clothes, and you get some quite ordinary looking stuff, a skirt, a top, a coat, some of the shapes of the shoes are unusual, some dresses have metal rings on them, but most of the looks is color combinations, and tall thin models with sour expressions. A look which is clever but easily imitated, tight polo shirt with tights, wear a belt across your hips.
