The Prada loafers are gorgeous. They are very comfortable. I do not believe they will go out of style - high quality shoe. I bought them in black and brown and have absolutely no regrets. Love the way you styled them with the black suit - loafers are classic. Perhaps you should do a video on how you styled them.

I have several chunky loafers (kind of Penny loafers) and derby chunky shoes (another older version of chunky Prada shoes as well ;)). I bought them around 5-6 years ago. I have been wearing them since those days and I love them and am not sure if any trend shift will stop me from wearing them😆. Funny enough, but they became even trendier now than when I bought them! But I don’t think that this is SO trend-trend. There are much chunkier block heeled shoes now which I would really consider a trend. Also, I think if this type of loafers speaks to your personal style so well then they don’t even look like just trend on you. They will always look good on you. So that argument would not stop me from buying but the fit would. Over 700 euro for the shoes that don’t fit well is not for me😬 So if the fit is not an issue for you - keep them!

I just love how these shoes make me feel and with a pair of thick socks they also very comfy. I kept them and still love them. You can send them back if they are too small and go .5 size up.

Hello Ms. Vienna! :) Thank you for everything! you are so much fun...im way behind on comments here; but i wanted to tell you that, i really believe that the loafers that you have bought last fall; your Prada loafers are actually now CLASSICS or classical!!! they have been assimilated into that official forever category...somehow (that would be a fun study, to see how modern designers make it to the eternal "classics" category) those Prada loafers; to me, its a done deal.... the ones that i just got, the monoliths, sharp toes; not so much...LOL...i don't care though!!! (and i loved what you said about being in love!! CRAZY, yes!!! im so tired of being 5'4' short that i am obsessed with that extra inch without a heel!!! ) i love them.....i first became obsessed with the lug soles when i saw on Gweneth Paltrows GOOP the GANNI polido zippers...i bought them and am in love with them!!! sooo comfortable...not elegant like the Pradas...but in Santa Barbara, California, no one is high fashion, not outwardly (it's all real estate here) i would say 95% of population ...lol....everyone is wearing Birkenstocks, all kinds, pastel colors multiple straps etc...pure Birkenstocks or just flip flops and sweat pants!! no flashy hand bags here (this is where Meagan and Prince Harry live now) so, if my Pradas are an old trend with my monoliths, i kind of fly under the radar because no one cares here!! I wear a 42 as well (just subscribed!) and ordered the 41.5 but was thinking of trying the men’s and was so happy to find your review about just this! At least now, I know it’s an option! Before this I was thinking if they didn’t fit I might just have to go with the Gucci version (since they come in a 42).

I'm a bit late to the party as I just bought my Prada loafers today . I'm generaly a size 41 and to my surprise I got a size 40 on these loafers. Maybe Prada resized the shoes (or they merged the ladies and man shoes) I bought them at a Prada store in Dubai. Sizing goes up to 42 here.

You could buy the women’s 41,5 and take them to a cobbler and get them blocked out in the length. It can take a few times, but usually it’s free the second time taking them in.

Obwohl diese Schuhe nicht auf meiner Wunschliste sind, finde ich deine Meinung immer interessant. Sollst du sie behalten? Wenn sie weh tun - auf gar kein Fall. Wenn dicke Socken das Problem lösen - doch. Ich trage sehr oft Schuhe mit einer dünne Ledersohle wie bei deinen Loafern. Ich lasse sie immer beim Schuhmacher besohlen. So bleibt die Sohle geschützt. Die Absätze muss ich öfters machen lassen, die Sohlen dann aber selten. Schönen zweiten Advent morgen!

Nur letztes Jahr, wenn ich meine Gucci Loafers bekommen habe, waren wir in Lockdown (wie jetzt auch ) und dann habe ich es so gelassen. Die Gucci Loafers sind eigentlich sehr bequem nur sie sind weit. Ich habe sie einfach nicht zurückschicken können. What is the uk size for the 42 you have? Cause i’ve seen different size charts and i’m not sure which size to get I’m usually a 39 women but size up in sneakers for comfort and i heard they run small And thought i might get the 40 in men cause i found them cheaper
