Tell us how to fix this. We have seen more videos stating they have increased tax, old is not usable now. All these are clear. Is there a solution that as a common man, i do to get it fixed. I work in a tax consultancy fiem.Why should government give exemptions and deductions when you are paying tax at lower rate slabs which is favourable than old tax regime. I have filed tax returns for many individuals this year all of them got lower tax in new tax regime when compared to old regime. Please note that under new regime Individuals need not have to pay tax tax if their income is equal to or below 7.0 lakhs. Also please note that majority of the business assessees not apying taxes honestly. They cook up their books with low profit and pay minimal tax or do not pay any taxes. This scenario results in lower tax collection from non individual assessees.

#WHYNOT? We income Tax payers should have an option. We pay income tax to government and the same amount if government virtually credited to our PAN account then while purchasing products we can avail GST exemption based on credited amount on our PAN account(similar to how companies get GST exemption). This helps income tax payers not to pay additional indirect tax also they can spend more that will boost economy. If you like this idea, please talk about this and share it to bring the change
