Everything is great in the commentary - just noting however that point about Pragg bringing a chocolate is really cute (especially the way Sagar says it seriously 😊) - reminds me that this little kid is playing like a chess giant... sometimes the games he plays makes us forget he is just a teenager...but the chocolate reminds us he is an adorable child. ❤
@taufeeqahmed279 ай бұрын
Dude the chocolate is also well thought out snack here and not just a testament that he is still a kid at heart. Chocolate causes spike in blood glucose levels so he has that constant energy flow during the game which would help him focus.

@@taufeeqahmed27 Good reasoning...didn't knw that!
@distoriank53149 ай бұрын
Chocolate for instant glucose release while banana is for slower release.well planned to maintain his energy level throughout. Chess at this level is extremely taxing on the body. One more thing, as pragnananda grows up and his metabolism becomes slower, he would switch chocolate for milk. Carlson did the same

This game gave poker vibes - it was like Pragg telling Vidit : “will you call my bluff?” 😅 Pragg was completely betting high stakes on Vidit not playing accurate moves *within time limit* (before increment) - actually if white plays accurately white can win this position - even better if white had prepped! It’s a gamble for Pragg and logical one and it worked. What was exciting was knowing this was Surya’s recent openings (also on database!) oof…what a gamble! ♥️♣️

It's already been mentioned in these comments that the word "disinterested" in the thumbnail is incorrect, that it should be "uninterested". But it hasn't been made clear that "disinterested" isn't a non-word. It is an altogether different English word meaning that you don't have an interest in the thing, like if you don't have, say, a financial interest in it.

ok his name is of sanskrit origin - pronounced as "P-R-A-G-Y-AA-N-A-N-D " meaning Bliss ( anand ) of the ultimate knowledge ( Pragyan ) and not PRAGNA NAND. In Tamil they use "Th" for hindi/ sanskrit "T" - example Chetan in North becomes Chethan in Tamil / south , or Gayatri in North becomes Gayathri in South. Same way they use Dh with extra A at the end - instead of D as in Anandha instead of Anand ( in north ) - hence n Tamil they wrote as Praggnanandha - the Gy word in sanskrit ( pronounced correctly as jya ) has been written as ggna mostly a use of improper version / dialect or local impact of the original word - known as Apabhramsa ( twisted popular word that becomes widely used on account of large time frame usage , eg Yug becomes Jug in Awadhi or other eastern dialects ).
