Your KZbin channel is better than any guide book I've seen for understanding and enjoying Prague as a tourist! If anything, the city should be promoting your service!

Your videos enticed my wife and I to take the plunge and book a Bohemian tour. We spent a lot of money in Prague having a great time and taking your advice You are an amazing ambassador for the incredible, beautiful, fun city of Prague, I hope the City begins treating you as such.

I'm visiting prague with my cousin on January 28 and we are definitely going to take free walking tours with you. Both city and castle. Your videos were the most helpful to plan our trip to prague. Keep the good work going!

I've watched most of your videos, and I think they're all excellent and entertaining. I have visited Prague several times in the last few years, and I've found many of the special places in the city that you have reported on. I really appreciate the information! If I ever make it back, I plan on signing up for one of your castle tours.

I planned my solo trip to Prague in November this year with your videos and it was super useful. I also did the free castle tour and it was fabulous, fun, interesting, easy-going and perfect. I will definitely come back and join more of your tours.

I’m heading to Prague on Thursday, and I’ll be looking out for your companies red umbrella. Certainly won’t be using the cities tour guides. All power to you and your team. 👏🏻

I have watched all your videos and although not planning to come back just yet, I will continue to watch as you are the best whether it’s making those videos or actually taking people on tours. If anything you should be awarded for your contribution to the history and culture of Prague. We did a free tour and it was fantastic and we really enjoyed it and definitely do some again when we return. Anyone who are intending to visit and wants to know about the amazing history of Prague I would highly recommend you use 100 Spires/Real Prague guides. So sad to hear this has happened to you guys, keep going 🥰

I'm coming to Prague next week and have been preparing for weeks with your videos and those from Honest Guide. Thank you for your great work, which speaks for itself. Unfortunately, I fear that the average tourist will not see through this smear campaign. All the best to you!

You are the best guides and your channel is the most informative one about Prague and the Czech Republic! It's extremely entertaining as well. Greetings from Hungary! Děkuji mnohokrát!

A classic case of bullying and slander. Sadly, the Czech legal system is ill equipped to handle open and shut slander cases in a transparent and efficient manner.

That kind of a smear campaign is really disgusting. Having watched a lot of your videos I´m inclined to think that you guys are a lot more qualified than the "licensed" guides.🙄
@ycplum70623 сағат бұрын
In the US, they would be subject to a lawsuit. In fact, tehy might get their license revoked. If nothing else, this good be a good investigative article for a newspaper or TV News.

RPG's!!! The reason I am so excited about 100 Spires it that when I went to Prague my guide was from Prague City Tours. She showed us the square where Jan Huss was burned....... I am an ignorant Texan but I know that Jan Huss wasn't burned in Prague. Keep up the good fight. Merry Christmas from Texas.
@RealPragueGuides5 сағат бұрын
Thanks Chris! You are definitely not ignorant! Your comments are always heart-warming and show your curiosity about the world outside of Texas. I just hope that our guide only showed you the statue of Jan Hus and not the place where he was burned (unless he showed a picture) 😅, that would be quite a journey.

Hi Valery, I always knew you don't take no sh**, good for you!!. Also that Santa salute was sooo funny, OMGosh!! I was wondering how many tours do you do a week on average? Just curious. Love you and your channel, keep up the good work, and see ya next time. BBBYYYEEE!!

Based on your videos I did the paid castle tour with Nico from 100 Spires and I am happy that I did. Yes he had a red umbrella but it certainly was not a scam.
@davidanalyst6714 сағат бұрын
OMG valerie!!!! I am sorry they put up this confusing info. We all know who our favorite tour guide is. Shes the one who makes hilarious videos on youtube. And santa sure is spicy this time of year isn't he? Maybe santa can make up for it if you do some christmas market vids, and get you more tour business. European Christmas markets are all over youtube in the USA right now.

My wife and I was in prague a fortnight ago, we took the night tour with Peter (red umbrella), it was a fantastic experience. Next time I go to Prague we will be looking only at the red umbrellas tour, good company fantastic tour, use them tour won't be dissatisfied.

The ghost of state socialism still lives. When the government goes into business, competing with privately owned businesses, they have so many advantages they don't need to cheat. But cheat they do. You are absolutely right to complain. To license you and then suggest you're an illicit enterprise is right out of Kafka.
@rudolphguarnacci19730 минут бұрын
I think you're right not changing the color of your umbrellas.

Valerie. Your card maybe silver, but you are solid gold I don’t know what your relationship with Janek at Honest Guide is (if any). Perhaps a collaboration with his channel to clear the air or educate a wider audience? I’ll admit, I’m naive about this topic. But I do know the on/off bus thing is not exactly honest

They’d just change the wording 🤣 When we did our free tour with 100 spires the place we met at had other tours meeting there too, definitely saw a yellow umbrella, blue and other shades of red.

If the city want to clean up their image they should ban those ATM machines, you know the ones from that dodgy American company!
@mariondeland233248 минут бұрын
They are definitely linking anyone with red umbrellas to the Hop On Hop Off people, who claim the money is for charity and are absolutely scammers. That is hugely unfair. I suggest that you make big labels for your umbrellas that says "Licensed Guide" and maybe also "Ask to see our licenses." Also, it's good to have a sign that says, instead of "Free," "Tip us what you think we were worth." Not all people understand that free=tips, because in some cities there are official city free guides that are not allowed to accept tips. (I had this happen in England, and now make a point of asking "Do you accept tips?")
@travelswithmybelly5 сағат бұрын
This is terrible. This is using an unfair advantage against legitimate business. If it were a private business this would be illegal but since it's the city?? I don't know. All I know it is vastly unfair. If they were really concerned about scammers they would get off their butt and do something about the people that operate without a licence. Just send patrols around to check. Fine them with they don't produce a licence, stop them from operating. But no, it's about money. Good luck!!
@jurvereissaa5 сағат бұрын
Dont worry. Nobody reads signs at the airports, but people will watch youtube. At airports people only tries to find an exit or a gate, nothing more. Keep on fighting and merry christmas! 👍

Luckily most of the campaigns against you are in Czech - not many of your tourists speak Czech. That's just a waste of city money. Tipping is a vicarious way to make a living though. I would recommend not having any Brits on your tour. It's not in the culture. See you soon guys. lovely vid

Co dodat. Možná v rámci nějaké túry udělat názornou defenestraci. Nebylo by to sice autentické jelikož jsou v přízemí, ale za tenhle přístup si nic lepšího nezaslouží.

I have a feeling they are referring to the hop on hop off people who actively advertise in old town square and other places. But it’s a shame if any of this impacts you guys. I’ve taken tours from Valery, Vaclav, Nico, and one other guy working for you and they were just excellent.
