As a Czech living almost in Prague, the Pražský Semmering is nothing new to me, but it's nice to see somebody else than a Czech railfan show it off online :) And here are a few more interesting facts: 1. The first connection, as seen on the timetable, is actually direct from Praha-Čakovice, the last station in Prague before line 070 that goes all the way to Turnov, a city in the "Bohemian paradise", or "Český Ráj", as wee call it, descends into the central Bohemian region. The same thing, just in reverse, happens with the last connection from Zličín to "hlavák" (the Czech term for main train station). This is caused by KŽC having it's depot in Čakovice... 2. The M162 (or 810 as it's referred to today, since the letter + number (known as the Kryšpín's system) isn't used since 1989) isn't the only type of rolling stock operating on the Pražský Motoráček... Often the retro line is served by a class M262 / M262.1 (- or 830/831) motorised coach ( I really wouldn't call that thing a railbus), or a class 813 DMU, a double carriage DMU, that operates on line S34 (PHA Masarykovo n. - PHA-Čakovice) during workdays... 3. The most common nickname for class 810 is šukafon, fon standing for sound (fono), and the first part... replace fon with the letter t, paste it into google translate and see, I just don't feel like saying it out loud in the comment section... 4. KŽC, from spring to fall, (with money from ROPID(standig for the "Regional Organizer of Prague Integrated Transit (transit is Doprava in Czech), the organization, which orders, organizes and pays for transport in Prague and the central Bohemian region) actually runs quite a few more retro lines from Prague, including the Lužickohorský rychlík, Posázavský motoráček and more... And ordering a ticket is pretty simple too, it's done in the same app that's used for PT in Prague and shown in the video, you just search for the connection and the app suggests the ideal (number of zones, needed time) ticket...

Thanks! Looks like I gotta return to Czechia soon to film all the other retro trains operated by KŽC (as well as other trains like the Pendolino) :) Looking forward to it!

Originally these benches were upholstered with an artifical leather in red coloring. Funny enough these trains were designed to have double panel windows that can be pulled down to open. However, to save costs, the regime then decided to fit these trains with just tiltable windows and a single panel.

The modernized 810s do have windows that can be pulled down (similar to the older 820) as seen in this video. I may actually miss those modernized 810s once they replace them with the RS1s, but I think the accessibility of the RS1 is good enough reason for replacement on its own.
