Truly appreciate those words man. I was living in Boston and met a ton of Cape Verdeans. Prior to moving to Boston I never even heard of the island. You absolutely have to go there. So much beauty there and even better to get a local perspective on it. I highly recommend checking out my other two videos in Cape Verde from the islands of Fogo, and Sal. Which island is your family from?
