Praia do Flamengo - Botofogo Beach - Rio De Janerio Brazil - Crowded Beach

This is Praia do Flamengo in Rio De Janiero. It's a beach that stretches from Flamengo right down to Botofogo. It's a super popular strip that looks out onto Sugar Loaf. The beach is surrounded by land so it's very calm (not too many waves). The locals enjoy playing volleyball on the beach and just socialize along the walking track. It's very safe as there are police stationed along the path (and you can even hire a bike and ride if you wish).
I love Brazil, it's one of my favourite cities in the world.
