Documentar fantastic ... cu siguranță, dacă mama mea ar fi în viață, i-ar plăcea.

Black sea German here. My family on my father's side lived in Odessa. Their entire family left Odessa and came to North Dakota in 1908. Eleven children came here and one to south America. My great grandparents had their first child in Odessa and 11 more once here. They had huge families.

what an informative film....I enjoyed it immensely. My father was Bessarabian born, although it was administered by Romania at the time of his birth and I actually still have distant cousins in Argentina, also Canada and the USA - a testimony to those who left "Russia" in the late 1800's and early 1900's. And of course there are those cousins who were repatriated back to Germany in 1940. But, I count myself lucky that my father wanted to settle here in Australia after WWII - and will be forever grateful.

What a beautiful job! Congratulations!!! Also significant is the presence of Russian immigrants in São Carlos, SC as recorded in the book "Eu Fugi da Sibéria" by Clemens Gisi, narrating the true causes of the escape from "icy hell", the return to Germany carrying cultures (Chinese and others) That were routes of escape until arriving at Porto Alegre and of cart to São Carlos, SC and other municipalities of the West of SC

Congratulations on the fantastic work of preserving culture and family. Certainly my ancestors of the Schutt family, who left Mecklemburg Vorpommern, and lived in Borodino, Bessarabia until 1929 when they came to Brazil feel honored never to be forgotten.

Fabulous documentary! It's such a great work! Made me a little homesick since, like our ancestors, I've also emigrated... I remember the stories my father's uncle told on and on, and today I would pay anything to hear them just once again...
