Furthermore, labeling an individual as Christian or non-Christian is not the purpose of this concept, the purpose of this concept is to seek to better understand the state of being of human beings. I would call myself a Christian, but I have put myself through hell numerous times with my own bad decision making, but every time my Father has welcomed me home, and restored my soul.

Extraordinarily relevant in the modern world nowadays. I'm glad Serj's creative wisdom came to me tonight. Thank you Serj I appreciate it. Also after learning a bit from my Comparitive Political science class about different cultures and their governments I feel like I can empathize a lot more with nations without a state or in conflict between those who hold more power over their borders and land. You guys from Armenia and other third world countries don't deserve what's happened to your people. I love you all☮️❤️

Many would argue that pain, evil, depression, etc. these are hell, and they are the product of choosing separation from God rather than choosing to follow him. Jesus commanded us to Love thy neighbor as thyself and to love the lord with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. Hell is the result of deviating from these commands, heaven is the result of following these commands.
@flamegod714 жыл бұрын
The words and pictures in the song just help emphasize the meaning even more.
@jauffremicawber694712 жыл бұрын
I mean, imagine a world where everyone loved each other as themselves, it isn't perfect, but it is a heck of a lot better than the world we live in. The labor of Jesus made this world attainable! We cannot uphold these commands ourselves as is evident in human society, but Jesus overcame death that we may live our lives free of this hell with the Holy Spirit to guide us. Heaven and Hell are not places that will happen, they are places that do happen.

so for people who this song does the 1940's one disrespect look at the meaning of serj's version and the 1940's version(dont know who made it) the 1940's one is kinda american propaganda for WWII the song gives this "lets win the war" or is kinda a hope giver by saying that the lord will help the allies win that applies to back then now look at america now and the maning of serj's version that kinda fits the modern U.S. its people using religion(mainly christianity and the Islamic religion) as a scapegoat sort of. saying that we are doing this in the name of the lord. this song doesnt bash the older one it transforms it to fit modern day america

War, hate, violence will all live on in the hearts and minds of man. The thing people forget though is that peace can live on the same way. A single man can practice peace and love in wartime the same way a single man can bring war to peaceful people. The world will keep turning and we will all keep existing. Life will throw things at us and we will build ourselves accordingly In the words of Douglas Adams: "you live and learn. At any rate, you live.”

I am sorry sir, although some of us seek to serve a great and glorious God, which may be this man's intent, we often fall short. We are after all, still only human despite the unimaginable transcendency of our Father. Do not mistake us, or our feeble attempts to describe him, for the God we serve. He is unimaginable in his love and kindness, power and glory, mercy and justice, etc. And we often fail to convey him to others. I pray that God will bless you and Charbel both.

I said no such thing; I asserted the necessity of free will, and the danger of impinging upon it. God is by nature inscrutable, and how we deal with this is how you and I differ. You fear God is not good or is not who he is. I, however, seek to trust in God and believe that he knows what he is doing even though it often doesn't make sense. "Though he slay me, I will trust in him."-Job 13:15 I do not understand the evil in the world; indeed, it frightens me. however, I trust in God.

True, but the music is just the only thing that one is listening to, if somebody of your own age would say it to you, most likely you would be left in disbelief as we only respect those with influential power on high number of people, we assume that if majority is fallowing he/she must be right, but yeah I rly love this music from idea, theory and analytical point of view and actually he is just telling obvious things that commonly one is not thinking about and questioning him self and authority...
@colubrinedeucecreative7 жыл бұрын
His message is a packaged commodity distributed by powers, and in your ears by those powers, and you really think, that you have some kind of different state of being because you accept what he is saying as some kind of truth or insight about the way things are? Just the fact that you display it like it is some kind of pride source should be your first clue, that you don't know what this love is all about either. Just sit back and enjoy the beauty of the what is, rather than feed into the energy like that which you will change the what is by trying. It will spring forth without doing, and perhaps you are a component in your own way, but with trying, often we worsen the situation, so its advice to tread carefully and understand the nature of your own power, in your given circumstances. There is always good reason behind all that is.

I am so glad you posted this! I absolutely agree that God could have built things by any method. Indeed, the idea of construction of the universe via the Big Bang fascinates me. If he constructed the universe in this fashion, it would require no intervention at any point after construction because he already knew the final outcomes, and could simply place all answers to prayers, miracles, etc. in the original construction of the universe.

Ammunition Lyricist for the Cockroaches But there’s love among the disposables, waiting, as ever, to be lifted into consequence ~ Stephen Dunn It could have been a derangement of the senses, but she promised to be nothing if not small. Sequestered into an indifferent corner, quiet, listening-remaining unnoticeable in the bustling life around. There’s a pang that can’t quite be articulated, so she scratches lines and loops that refuse the meaning of her name, a name she hopes drones more with insight than rubbish. Truly, the idea of a completely inconsequential person is utter garbage. Most people don’t believe it. To them, so many don’t matter. They are just things to bleed dry or to squash into inconsequence as the ant that labored so hard to carry a crumb uphill. Veiled in irrelevance, she watches people pass without perceiving her crouching in her cage. She realizes life isn’t particularly kind to those plagued with obsessions. You might argue time is money, but it’s just a sock full of quarters walloping you in the face. The hungers of those toothless eclipsed are palpable. They are starved, gumming at the marrow of understanding, having arrived too soon at the viscera of their moment. Don’t even try to count how many varieties of despair there are. It’s futile. The only purpose is to assault ill-formed beliefs, nothing but emblems of vapid excess. There’s so little justice in the world. Wounded as she is she’s also a weapon. The terrible Night, that always disappointing lady, drives violent crime up a notch at every sunset. Shadowy screams are so much closer than you think, morning reports of the evening’s escapades never accurate. Don’t forget someone’s fine penmanship will always end up misspelling who you are, who they are, and, of course, everything that just happened.

And, if God were to stop some evils/pains, where would he draw the line? No evil should ever happen, but does that mean that God will only stop huge atrocities, or what if I am just having a bad day, and I tell someone off? If we say God stops only those afflicted on anyone else, that by necessity stops all as we are all emotionally connected to others, and when we hurt ourselves by self-destructive tendencies, we are hurting those who care about us as well.

Why doubt God's goodness? Is your life utterly without joy or blessing? Maybe your life has been that bad, maybe not I cannot speak for you. I speak only as I have seen, heard, and felt. From the family and friends God has given me, when God raised me up in times of pain, and the joy I have experienced. Trusting God goes beyond logical choice. I am thankful for all he has done, no matter how terrible my end, I will meet it with open arms, for God will not forsake me and none can take him away.

There is nothing wrong with having a preference or opinion within spiritual or religious beliefs, the issue lies within the fear of anything different from what we are accustomed to. Religion is not evil nor destructive, but is used by those holding a position of power within our culture and political system as a way to influence the public and sway our opinions on certain matters. Any belief whether religious or not can be used to influence many decisions that we make in our lives.
