What an interesting interview. Labyrinth is the reason why I got into David Bowie.

Same. My mother was a huge Bowie fan because of the Labyrinth too And gosh its hard to not see why. A true legend of his time.

Reading some of these comments really shows my age. I've always been a fan of David Bowie. When he passed away I cried. The world lost another icon.

The way he passed was such a legend move too. He absolutely insisted that no one ever see his final moments because he wanted everyone to remember the legend that he was, not what he became, and he continued song writing and everything right up til the end. Just an amazing person.

When my mom told me david Bowie died, I had no idea who he was until I saw this movie and got into his music and type of styles for six years

I knew of David and had heard of his death but never gave it much thought cause I was young, now days that I watched Labyrinth and got into his music, I mourn him…if I could go back in time and fix that, I would… It pains me knowing that I will never get a chance to meet him 😔

Only six years ...that's disappointing

OMG I can just imagine the gag when they play "Laughing Gnome" (if you haven't heard it, look it up, it's a trip) and David being so embarrassed by it. I would kill to see that.

It doesn't sound like he was embarrassed, so much as rolling his eyes. I'll bet he's had that happen a lot, with that particular song. It's an easy target.

I grew up on Labyrinth and my husband and I love it. David Bowie was always amazing. It was so sad when he passed away.

The Laughing Gnome is such an epic song.

I'm sure David didn't think so, but those of us who discovered Bowie at a really, really young age appreciated it. It made the weird stuff more accessible.

The main reason I wanted to see Labyrinth was because I knew David Bowie was in it .
