Rock and roll in any form is far better than this electronic music based mostly on loop...Only ppl who see themselves as artist who will do hip hop or rap listen that music, thats why that kind of music prospare in black usa or whatever, rest of world, no so much at all...When they compare Tupac with Kurt Cobain i get annoyed bc its not even same genre, etc...You cant compare them even as spokesman of generation, Pac was arrogant prick and Kurt was empathy genius etc...

Pac dissed Fugees because Fugees dissed the west coast. A lot of artists in the east dissed the west because of the hiphop culture differences. Pac said it himself, its like the big brother hating on the little brother just coz the little brother was making more money. The east coast had the opportunity to experiment with pop at the time, we had people like LL Cool J who was taking his shirt off and getting oiled up, many would say that LL was the first hiphop "sex symbol". Meanwhile, the west coast stayed true to the gritty raps, the street melodies about gangs and police violence etc... and by doing that, many of the fans naturally gravitated to the west, which led to jealousy. You had Fugees sampling Enya on one of their biggest tracks ever. The Fugees dissed the west coast and that is why Pac retaliated. If you would like to hear all about it, just look up the interview Pac did with Sway and he breaks it down in full.

I see/hear what he's getting at but one has to make an inference or read between the lines, cause he's using the exact same words. If 1 person were to for some reason watch only the 1st 10 secs of this video they would get a totally different statement from a person who for some reason didn't hear the 1st 10 or so sec but saw his 2nd description of the relationship. If he meant to say we were cool, but not really friends, a simple thing to do was to have said, ''we were cool, but weren't really friends'' I doubt if he were responding to someone who he considered a real friend, he would have started of like "yo that's my ''man'' ''man'' or my friend like he did with the Pac question.

The thing I loved most about this entire vlad interview - listen to pras go completely silent and dismissive when Vlad try to be stirring the pot on some shit - he just looks at Vlad awaiting the actual question In every segment of this interview I’ve seen Pras just keeps it 100 and refuses to be drawn on any of the sensationalist or rumour spreading bullshit from Vlad He a real nigga

I swore the Fugees were going at Pac in that "Cowboys'" track off of the Score album. In 96, everyone was investigating Pac's beefs and had conspiracy theories of their own. LOL
@soulstalgiarecords777405 жыл бұрын
As intelligent, hardworking, talented, philosophical, social passions, wokeness, etc. Tupac was, his contradicting temper and rants and avoidable confrontations seemed to have invited death upon himself... If you enter the realm of gangsterism and squabbles (beefing all over the show), and writing songs like I hit em up, etc, the result you would get from that scene would likely be death.
