Hello from Australia! 🇦🇺 I am a high school student living in Australia, but I am born Indian (Bangali) and I love your video series of China so much bhai, you are so entertaining and the respectful way you interact with the locals is so sweet. I am in 12th grade and am studying Chinese at school, and I am so lucky and grateful that I will be actually traveling to China during April for a school educational and cultural trip, with some of my good friends as well. Watching these videos has made me feel so excited for my travels, I never thought China was this developed and Chongqing looks so vibrant and fun! You are inspiring me to also vlog my travels with my friends, haha, I might post here on KZbin as well if I get the time! On my trip I will be visiting Beijing, Pingyao (where I get to homestay at a traditional Chinese hotel), Xi'an (where I will be participating in a student exchange for 2 days at a high school, and also will be doing a homestay with a Chinese family for 2 nights!!), and Shanghai (where I will go to Disneyland!) I'm sooo excited and I'm so happy that you are travelling around China and enjoying the beautiful culture, as well as breaking the stereotypes many Indians have about China. In my opinion, both Chinese culture and Indian culture are very beautiful and I feel like we have more similarities than differences, I find it sad that most Indians and Chinese dislike each-other, when in reality, we should be coming together!!! All the best with your Chinese learning! I know it might seem tough at first, but once you have got the basics, it becomes much easier. Basically, each word is a combination of different syllables (characters) and so the more characters you learn, the more easier it becomes to guess the meaning of more complex words. From watching your recent videos I can see your Chinese pronunciation has improved a lot! So just keep on learning, and be confident, and you will be surprised at how much you can speak.
