Yes, you need to build up that levy at the opposite end of the map. Water will exit the map when it reaches the map edge. So, in order to build up the lake level height, you need to ensure there’s nowhere on the map for the water to flow.

Pravus, to increase DAM water level , you need to build dam (close) at other end of the MAP where water flows outside of map ending. Use dynamite to dig deeper in your river areas, so that it can store twice much water .

Pravus power goes through ALL buildings. You didn’t need the high shafts, you can just connect to the warehouses under.

It's not seepage into the ground, it's evaporation. Meaning deep reservoirs are preferable to wide as only the top layer evaporates.

One thing that can be a challenge but really rewarding is to build a huge terraced multi dam. There's a few guys you can watch for inspiration if you want, but essentially using a series of dams you can create near infinite water flow for power as well as a really long sustaining water supply to last through even the longest of droughts
@almar88742 жыл бұрын
There are 2 ways to handle droughts: Build high dams to store more water in the river, or build lots of pumps and tanks to store more water on the land.

You should build a 1 high flood gate at the end of your river (before the big basin) when the drought starts you close the river completely and keep it filled up higher for longer. Especialy later on when you will be pumping out more water. Also, with enough explosives you can make your river 2 deep. The pumps for these guys are 2 deep max, augments your water stores even more. (Don’t forget to reopen the floodgates at the end of the drought or else you will flood your town.)

Stream guage also measures water flow, so put them in front of or behind water wheels to get an idea how much power is behind the flow...or place them first to figure out where to put wheels.
