for anyone watching this in 2023: There is no reapers in the Floating Islands biome, BUT there is a mountain biome next to it where there is a whole bunch of reapers so if you just stay near the floating islands you wont see any reapers.

For anyone still lost in 2022: In the first wreck alone, you can find more than enough pieces for both Prawn Suit modules, look around for sealed doors and vent access that wreck is deceptively large Nonetheless, great video, gave me the courage that I needed to go explore!

For anyone new to Subnautica in 2022 like myself, both prawn drill arms aren't outside of the wreck (first wreck in the video) anymore (at least on my world, I'm not sure if its different for others and their worlds) one is outside where he found the first, and the second is inside of the wreck. To get into the wreck, you have to go in the opposite side that he goes in. Make sure to bring your laser cutter because theres a few doors to get through to get the final drill arm. It also has both prawn suit grappling arms in there as well. Make sure you look everywhere because I almost missed one of the doors if I didn't look up. Hope this helped anyone with any confusion. Thank you again to the creator of the video. This is my second time going back to this wreck and I had no clue you could get inside of it lol.

Each playthrough randomises the spawn of fragments and databoxes between various set locations for each particular blueprint in the game. Some blueprints have only set locations, others can be spawned in multiple.

I checked the wreck on the floating island following a post from reddit and almost crapped my pants because I didn't know if there was "something else" besides Bonesharks and in the end only found one drill arm and like 6 grapple arms sadly. But thanks to your video checked the first location you showed, it was kinda close, not too deep and definitely not as scary, and found the other arm fragment I needed THANKS

The big wreck over on one of the underwater floating islands in the floating island zone also has numerous prawn suit arm attachments. I personally got 1/2 of the drill arms there, along with both grapple arms, and both propulsion arms. The only downside in that area is that there are a lot of Bonesharks surrounding the wreck, so you may need to be careful about where you park you seamoth/vehicle

I accidentally went into the lost river through the blood kelp zone(I think?) and swam through some large fossilized remains and found myself swimming with a ghost reaper that didn’t even attack me, I then continued on to a alien research base but couldn’t go any further cause I was in a seamoth with a depth mk3 module so I speeded back to the surface without ever being attacked by anything. Successful trip I’d say.

No guide I have seen so far about the floating isles wreck points out that in that final room there is a ladder on the ground with a locker blocking it that you can lift off with the propulsion cannon. Two databoxes down there.

Tip with wrecks: if you do want to get the fragments without going into a wreck, bring a habitat builder and some titanium with you. there is a glitch with base compartments that despawn the wreck entirely if you build any base compartment in the wreck. however, only do this if you dont like exploring wrecks, as it is a little cheesy

If you use a stasis rifle on them u can kill them with your knife easy enough. I got attacked by 4 of them at the last location and it worked every time

Thank you so much i had a crazy clutch. So on the first one as soon as you warpers i was scared. Because i heard they are annoying and strong. But i needed water bad so i was lucky and found two arm fragments. So i hopped in my seamoth and i dipped i was a 6 hydration. So i grabbed a bladder fish rushed to my life pod and was good then i grabbed even more and drank the water this is 5 seconds basically after i did that.

Been trying to figure out where I could find these parts for awhile. You didn't even need to go as far as looking in so many places as the first one has many, but you went and did it anyway. For the last wreck, in the last room before you go outside, there's a door on the floor covering a ladder. If you move it with the propulsion cannon, you can go down into a room with a shit ton of stuff.

THANK YOU SOOO MUCH. I have had such bad luck finding the grappling arm (have probably found 12 pieces of the drill arm and only 1 of the grappling arm) and have been searching for wreck 11 (the second one) for so long. I knew approximately where it was but couldn’t find it. Using your beacon as a guide I was able to easily (since I had my own beacon at the first wreck and could get a better sense of how far it was). I found sooo many pieces of the drill arm (more than 12; 10 at this wreck alone!!) but fortunately I found one grappling arm inside so I finally completed it. What a pain. But tysm!

Actually in the last room from the floating islands wreckage you can use the propulsion weapon to move a piece of metal that is blocking a ladder that goes down to a whole other room with loot in it
