Jardooooooo! 🍻😁 good seeing you both! Sad to see the engine in that way, but fingers crossed it all works out 🤞🏼

Absolutely sucks when stuff like this happens, but I know you and the whole community of guys you've got involved will rally to the cause. Here's to what comes next! As an aside, they're expensive for what they are, but a 12v Milwaukee bonnet light is so bloody useful I wouldn't be without mine. Definitely worth an investment. I've got Kielder 18v kit, but a small collection of 12v Milwaukee kit off the back of the light and it's all invaluable kit. Worth a look. Big hugs all round and keep your chin up chap

Having gone through multiple engines over the years it’s painful. So much work and money. Keep pushing!

Sorry to hear about the engine mate, I know that pain too well haha

Sorry to see that! But what happend to the turbo? Which exhaust valve were in the engine? Stock one or inconel? Maybe too high EGT killed both the turbo and one valve?
@UngluckInc2 ай бұрын
You can hear the misfires before you get to 6th, for about 4-5 seconds. The attempted restarting really killed it though I think. WAtching now...

Gave the video a thumbs up, as I have done all the others. Sorry to see how bad it is but look forward to hearing the plans for sorting it. Thanks for sharing the ups and downs of motorsport - I've been there myself so it's familiar but great to see it so well shown on this channel 👏

Nick, I'm so sorry to see that you had such awful luck causing the damage and ending your season when you were still fighting for the championship. Hope team B5 can rebuild it and you come back stronger than ever. I do love the colour coordinated rocker cover, block, buckets and gloves though!

Hey Prawn, I just ran across a forum post from you at Audi-sport, where you installed Silver Project camber plates in the front. In the video, it seems that you are still using camber plates, but are black. Are they still the same ones but painted black?

Sorry to see the end of the season like this but that’s racing. In reference to to the engine it is a lot of power to ask from the 1.8 for that amount of time. 12 hours or not it’s a lot of stress especially when you do hang well up in the revs. Maybe next try bigger CC to use the grunt and stay lower down Rev range maybe and also maybe have a spare forge lump on standby if the worst should happen. Do you send any oil samples off throughout the season for testing?

What valves where you running. I head there is a few makes that are 2 peice and the heads can fall/pull off and higher revs
