I think it only proves how hard it is to solve a murder without breaking some sort of law along the way. You can’t even investigate a crime scene without trespassing (or a license) unless 1. They die in the middle of the street 2. You bribe the roommate to let you in 3. They died next to the doorway and you stretch the meaning of “not trespassing”
