A Priest’s Occasional Rounds of prayer to Cover Everyone Ever in the Divine
Will.
“Let me speak your praise, O Lord,
let all peoples bless your holy name
for ever, for ages unending.”Ps.144.
We say “for ages unending” all these 23 Prayers in the company of Our
Immaculate Mother Mary, requesting of Her, in the Divine Will, the Divine
Version of each prayer for completeness. It is thanks to the writings of Luisa
Piccarreta, died 1947, that we are indebted for the teachings in these reflective
prayers.
(21) There is one final group that runs the risk of losing everything as You know
dear Lord. They put off till tomorrow the effort they know they have to make
to get their lives together. They forbid themselves to think of what has to be
done, of what they need to do to rise up, to shake off the lethargy that
overwhelms them, the need to look beyond the things that are happening
around them that are distracting them, intriguing them. So they are neither
hot nor cold with the terrible threat that hangs over so dangerous a mind-set.
In the Divine Will is a fire that burns and an intense love that stirs and shocks
the lazy, the cold, the patently indifferent, the preoccupied in the attraction of
pleasure and self-satisfaction. Claim, Lord, their latent goodwill, shake off from
them the deadly cloak of spiritual malaise and lassitude. Show them your Face,
Lord, the torn Face of your awful Suffering. Charge them up with new found
vigour, appreciation of you and of what really matters for them and their children. For all of these we offer Your same Divine determination simply to
stay alive and conscious in all the horrific Passion in order to keep suffering for
their sake. That was truly an infinite love beyond all merely human
possibilities, decreed by the Divinity and we pray that it not be wasted.
Through our prayers then in the Divine Will, I.P.E. , we CLAIM it all and apply it
moment by moment, minute by minute, non-stop through all time and
through the prayers of everyone ever in the company of the Virgin Mother
Mary, till life and energy of spirit are restored in all lives and in our lives too as
the case may be. And we offer a D.W. act of gratitude that you have armed us
with such a beautiful hope. Amen Fiat.
