This was FANTASTIC. I love subjects like these. Makes you think. For a long while now I've been asking myself, what really is the difference between a child asking Santa Claus for stuff and an Adult asking this invisible God for stuff . Doesn't seem much different at all to me. Thank you for this brilliantly, thought out discussion.

Reflecting about pray from the world paradigm of JWs from what I was taught while in the org, I was brainwashed with those stories the leaders told at meetings and assemblies and in the publications. Quickly it became apparent that what they were saying was so bizarre like so much of their rhetoric. This probably was a contributing factor, though there were many, many more thing and incidence and situations. I am so thankful I am out and free. Over the last 22+ years I researched a lot of other religions and spiritual beliefs. I developed my own beliefs. I pray but not to a deity like the god if the Judeao/Christian world paradigm--more of a feminine creative energy. There are a lot of synchronicities that I see happening. Thank you for this video--it has a lot to ponder. [PS as a side note I believe in reincarnation and karma--I do not believe we are "born in sin"--that really doesn't make sense. And odd that I prayed to Jehovah for years to show me "the truth". Haha I began wondering if the GB and the org were not tools of the devil. Just my learning and growing.]

God doesn't seem to care, 😢 I can understand why many don't believe he exists. Especially because of the way we were treated when we were members of the Watchtower organisation. We were manipulatived used and abused. Millions of sincere people wasted their lives thinking they were serving God. When they were in fact serving the "governing body",

You pray for something, do 100% of the work to accomplish it and then give the credit to prayer. It is comical thinking about it now.
