Thanks for the prayer! I too went through Alopecia Areata 4yrs ago. I noticed the breakage or loss in the crown area just like yours and it spreaded in the back. It did not effect the front of my hair it was still full and healthy. I had it trimmed down last Summer 2021. Cut short in the back kept the length in the front . I have been taking biotin, and several hair supplements. Some worked and some didn’t. Everything I’ve used has been natural. I was determined not to use chemicals including the medication prescribed by my dermatologist. Fast forward I noticed growth in the crown area and back in Feb 2022. I’ve been taking biotin, hair supplements (hair finity) along with drops by Alodia . Alodia is all natural. The owner is Tricologist. My confidence is back! When I lost my shoulder length hair I was devastated so seeing growth gives me confidence, hope and faith that God has heard my prayers. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 A combination of prayer, exercise (I’m a runnner) , drinking water (half gallon) , natural hair care products, and minimize stress. I can’t wait to see how much longer it’s going to grow …. I say stay encouraged it will grow back!

I LOVE reading this! I am so happy for you. Give us another update! Also, did you hair grow back thinner? Min comes back but just thinner. It seems it will always be sparse in my crown

It’s growing in thinner in the crown but I am told it will thicken up. The other areas are thicker and I said before the front remained in tact. I just got crochet braids to help with growth and low manipulation. So far so good only had them a week. They’re not tight in which that was a concern prior to getting them.

🙋🏾‍♀️ I'm one of those older women who follows you (Sharon from The Lip Bar facebook group). I'll be 57 in May and I have some strong opinions on older women and hair thinning (like taking iron out of our multi-vitamins is a mistake! Just because we may not be menstruating or bearing children doesn't mean we don't need iron. We still have blood *in* our bodies!). Anywho... your hair is stunning (cropped cut and color) 🤩 and I'm gonna order some Karen Drops because I believe in scalp care & nourishment. I also believe in non-begging prayer and speaking life into things. 💚

Love your color and it has really grown ! You can’t tell when it’s not all picked out. I wear twists outs from time to time I blow it out just to see how it has grown . Thanks again for your prayers and transparency. Continued healing and blessings to you!

This is exactly how mine look but at a standstill if getting worse. Hopefully the rosemary and 1 a day vitamins helps. I don’t have any problems besides inflation to where I want to fall out. But this video was nothing but confirmation. Thank you🌻

Oh my goodness I have severe itching in that same area, no matter what I do.

I found out that dairy and sugar make that area itch for me.

@ ok interesting ty for your reply…I am committed to a vegan life’s. As for the sugar, it’s a struggle 😂 However that is something I am minimizing with the help of The Lord as it has a negative effect with vision. It’s not everyday. My sight is progressively worsening. So ty for that I need those reminders. Blessings sis
