Prayer for Nursing Students

Hi Guys!
In this video, I just really wanted to talk to you about the importance of being intentional in protecting your spirit and remaining calm and peaceful even during the most stressful times of your nursing program or studying for the NCLEX. Please do NOT give up!!!
Here are some bible verses as reminders that you may find to be helpful:
**Overcoming Fear**
2 Timothy 1:7 (NASB)
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
1 John 4:18 (NASB) There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.
1 Peter 3:13-14 (NASB)
Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good? 14 But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled.
1 Peter 5:7
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
**Overcoming Jealousy**
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
1 Corinthians 13:4
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
Ecclesiastes 4:4
And I saw that all toil and all achievement spring from one person’s envy of another. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
**Overcoming Adversity**
2 Corinthians 4:8-9
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed
Proverbs 3:4-6
Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Philippians 4:12-13 (This is the verse that literally got me through my nursing program when I was getting my PN license)
I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
**Wanting Peace**
Psalm 29:11
"The Lord gives strength to his people, and the Lord blesses his people with peace."
Romans 12:18
"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone."
Romans 16:20
"The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you."
Isaiah 26:12
"Lord, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished, you have done for us."
**Strength to endure**
Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 40:31
But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
Ephesians 3:20-21

I was searching for a nursing prayer cause I’ve been battling mentally whether or not God really wants me to be a nurse or not. It’s taken so long and I’ve been set back so many times that it seems that door is being closed for a reason. But then again, it could be he’s preparing me for what’s to come when I finally do become a nurse and i have to have the strength and willpower to withstand hardship. Discernment is what I need. I’m not 100% sure this was my sign that it is my calling, but it’s truly helping me in the meantime as I still stride to my license❤️ thank you so much Professor D for speaking life over this situation and praying for us!

God is the only reason I’m getting through the nursing program. I couldn't have made it this far without him. It hasn't been easy, but I know if He’s called me to it, He will bring me through it 🥲 Everything is from Him and for Him 🕊🙏🏼❤ It's also important to remember throughout the program, not to find our identity in nursing or any career for that matter. We could want it so badly it can become an idol. Let us remember our identity does not come from our success OR failures in school or in our lives. Our identity is found in Christ and in who He says we are.️ When you put your faith in Jesus, you are a child of God who has a purpose and a meaning on this earth. That is your core identity, and it will never change, no matter our job description. Thank you Lord! Thank you, thank you. When you’re in the midst of this program life becomes more intensely challenging and way discouraging. I appreciate you taking the time out to help us to remember to think on those positive things, that God didn’t bring me this far to leave me. And when I focus on him and not the circumstances, I can do all things thru him that strengthens me. I am so thankful to have come across this video I'm in this accelerated LPN program for 18 consecutive days at this time this is my first week for my prerequisites, which have assignments every single day up to 6-8 from midnight and every day is something new I already have a test tomorrow before work because I work at night till dawn I definitely am panicking, I need to pass with a 75 or higher and already at a 72%. I don't plan on giving up, but it scares me that I won't make it. I have already made sacrifices to get here with rent, work, bills, etc., but I need this to continue and move on to the program starting in July. This is very motivational, but I am a wreck right now. I need all the prayers I can get. I plan on returning once I graduate and going for my bachelor's degree. Any tips/advice words of affirmation will help!!! Definitely using you for help.

God has brought me into my nursing program for a reason. Romans 8:28 says "And we know that in all things, God works for the good to those who love Him, to whose who are called according to His purpose." From that, I've learned that not everything that happens is good, but GOD! But God can use it anyways. I've been dealing with an immense about of stress regarding school, work, and my personal life. God has been there with me every step of the way; He has put people into my life that encourage me and uplift me. The lord knew I needed this. 🥲 After failing my first NCLEX exam & having a bad experience in nursing school… I truly wanted to give up. I kept hearing a voice telling me “I’m not smart enough to pass” “I’m not going to be a good nurse”. But now I know it was the devil putting those ideas inside my head. It’s hard for me to retain information & comprehend few topics but with this prayer, I know for sure is going to help me every day when I start studying. Thank you so much. I found your channel somehow and I'm glad I did, I have finals quite soon and I flunked HARD so I feel like im being pressure cooked slowly🤣. I broke down and sobbed when I opened my notes to study and I just got so overwhelmed, I felt stupid because there's still so much I don't know and I feel like I should or else I'm incompetent and don't deserve to be in the program💀. Professor D!! You have no idea how much this has provided me with confirmation that I am making the correct decision. I was actually dismissed from my nursing program 12/21/21. This I must say was the most devastating day of my life. But I have to say this… He would not allow me to give up on something that was already written. I trust in Him!! I just recently petitioned for the second chance program. This is program offered to students who are dismissed and want to still persue their dreams of becoming a RN. Im waiting to find out if I made it in. As I wait I began to feel discouraged and the anxiety is starting to ramp up. Your video saved me and give me the confidence to claim it!! The crabs in a barrel! You're right about that. I had to report a student for putting her hands on me. She had been being very messy towards me and just this week she started pushing past me. I saw RED. It's already tough trying to finish this program with only two months left and a sick parent. I saw myself losing my cool and my freedom. I reported her and was told I can file charges. I felt like I got the victory for one second but then I felt a disturbing feeling because I know that if I do that it's not telling what she will do to me if I take her chance of nursing away. I am praying that I finish this program. I pray that she and her messy crew leaves me alone. And I pray to never have to see her or them again!

Thank you. This brought tears to my eyes because I am going through some real Anxiety and fear something I have never experienced before.
