Hi guys, in this video I will be building Takahashi Ryosuke's Mazda RX-7 from my favorite anime series - Initial D! I have built several pre-painted model kits made by Aoshima in the past and I really liked the quality of them. And as a fan of Initial D, I have built and painted multiple cars from the series. But I have always wanted to get one of these pre-painted Initial D kits, and I am glad I have finally got one!
If you are a fan of the anime and you're looking to build one of these iconic model cars, but the whole idea of painting is stopping you, then you are going to love this pre-painted version! No painting is required. You will only need a few basic hand tools and a bottle of glue to put it together. Simply follow the instruction manual for assembly and you will get a beautifully painted Mazda RX-7. The only downside I can think of about these pre-painted kits is how difficult it is to obtain one. So don't hesitate to grab one while you can, they don't make many of them and they sell fast!

I really like the innovations made by Aoshima... they are very, very friendly to lay builders like me. I'm waiting for their latest work, namely Snap Car 1/24 as the successor to Snap Kit 1/32. This Snap Car requires absolutely no glue and paint, more detailed than the 1/32 Snap Kit. Sold for only 3,740 yen..

You can't really get them anywhere. Saw one from a place called plaza Japan. The other sites charge an arm and a leg can get this kit for about $50 with shipping from them. They the only site that have it in stock

grey panel line doesnt seem to show up much maybe dark grey better? also you didnt add the fine touch up on the chrome emblems? any seamlines on this body?

Not gunna lie, I love that it's prepainted, but I would never trust myself to attempt building a prepainted kit. I'd be terrified of messing up the paint and not having the skills to fix it properly.

Don’t worry about messing it up. The finish is harder than it seems. The prepainted kit is beginner friendly, even if you have no experience you should be able to put it together in a day or two. Just be careful and take it slow when using super glue as it’s hard to clean up when it’s hardened. I would recommend using water based craft glue if you can, it’s a weaker bond but safer to use.

Hi, anyone knows if loctite super glue is good for plastic model kits? In my country tamiya and humbrol glue are too costly, but model kits are affordable.
