It's interesting that Spanish speakers still use terms like "back air" and "down throw" instead of saying them in Spanish. Are the terms really just universal like that? 😮

For Example, Back Air in Spanish is "Aereo hacia atras" o "Aereo Tracero" , Donw Throw is "Agarre hacia abajo" or "Agarre Bajo" realmente es porque es mas rapido de pronunciar, ya que para que nuestras horaciones tengan Sentido necesitavos sustantivos en medio de una horacion, lo que nos da que si lo decimos bien, es muy lento y pierde impacto, y si solo usamos 2 silabas no suena bien Todo esto es vital a la hora de narrar una partida de un juego rapido como Smash bros... por eso aqui se suele usar mas los movimientos con sus nombres en ingles, aunque desconozco si es asi tambien en otros idiomas (aunque en frances tambien es ingles)

We do the same in Austrian tournaments. I think it's just due to the fact that everyone can speak or understand English. A lot of international tournaments are broadcasted in English etc
