You guys need to make a plastic piece that covers the hole showing the bolt. It would look 10 times better, sleeker, and prevent theft. You can literally just steal the thing by unscrewing the bolt.

What prevents someone from unscrewing the bolt (pictured at 4:54), removing the receiver drop-down part, and making off with my trailer/hitch accessory? Is there a way to lock the hitch drop down to prevent this?

The EcoHitch is equipped with an advanced anti-theft security bolt. We know that it works because we have not encountered our customers needing to order a replacement receiver due to theft.

Hi there! The fitment for the 2015 - 2021 WRX features an Invisi design - there were differences in the mounting location for the 2022 WRX which constituted a new build. The 2022 WRX is currently only being made in the Stealth design.

This hitch supports a tongue weight of 525 lbs at the trailer ball. Please keep in mind that every 12" extended from the trailer ball results in about a 30% decrease in tongue weight. Your vehicle may also be rated lower than the hitch. Be sure to consult your owner's manual for more info.

The standard 3rd brake light will work as normal. On some cars where there is a F1 light that replaces the knock out panel, that will be disabled.
