I feel like some people rewrite Kanaya as some super elegant and sophisticated girl. Really, she actually seems a bit clingy and enjoyed joking around with/play insulting her friends. Still one of my favorite characters!

She was probably the most even-tempered of all the trolls honestly, she definitely has emotional depth and intelligence, also, she did tend to radiate elegance and sophistication in her conversations... But I always felt she was pretty awkward based on how many of her conversations went with others, she often talked in a way which was roundabout and also sort of esoteric even to say simple things. I'd actually pin her as someone who is highly introspective and very in tune with their own internal world while also struggling to externalise that in a way to others in which they understand quite a lot.

the main part of the pumpkin party motif is actually roses leitmotif from aggrieve i believe, its use in pumpkin party i guess indicates the relationship between roxy and rose the one from black rose green sun is originally from chorale for jaspers, roses other leitmotif
