I’ve been restoring prewar electric trains and steam engines for years and can tell you your attention to detain is fabulous. Nicely done! The ONLY thing I would have done differently is to keep the tender wheels nickel colored. Great job.

Fantastic restoration! It's incredible to see the transformation of the Märklin R-910, especially knowing it was abandoned and seized when you found it. The effort you put into restoring each part, from unblocking the engine to fixing the counterweights, really shows your dedication and skill. Wonderful; magic! I bought a Lionel train set from the early 80's or 70's. It has plastic parts, but the guts of it are metal, simple controler etc.. Simple is best , especially for young kids today, it teaches them mindulness and opens the door to the wonderful world of the "Imagination"; the best "nation"!
