48:58 not sure how the guy would be guilty for spilling the beans about a girl who's actively trying to cheat on her significant other who she literally lives with. The guilty thing to do would be to not spill the beans and allow your friend to get cheated on over and over by the s|ut who's going around blowing or banging other dudes and his friends. I was in a similar situation like this where I was friends with a girl, who told me about how she cheated on her bf back in the msn messenger.. i saved the logs. I eventually after a few weeks decided to drop them on her bf after having weighed the consequences, etc.

I was in a similar situation to that warlock guy in the second half of mop and wod, and the lesson I learned from that is to don't be a good player in a bad guild. You spend time and money on this game spend it with people like-minded and same skill level. You can't be subjective about numbers and tactics and setups with everyone, because some people gonna find it toxic. It's ego, but ego should be placed in the right place, some of us play this game for bragging rights, if you're good there is a way to brag and be on the high horse without looking toxic and egotistic, and that only can happen in a guild with similar avg skill level.

I think w all could learn a thing or two from the children. Yes they can't play (some) but they ENJOY the game, they have fun and don't take anything to heart. I catch myself once in awhile getting frustrated a lot from people who can not perform simple mechanics. I have to stop and count to 3 and try to calmly explain what to do.
@XxTaiMTxX2 жыл бұрын
I've found more enjoyment in simply teaching the mechanics and the game to people than getting angry over people not knowing. But, I've really always liked being that person who helps out newbies or other players (at least, if it isn't an obligation to do so). I found that I just get "too angry" and "too frustrated" by anything that is remotely "PVP" based. Or, anything that is "let's play this game on a schedule". I'm not paying someone else so I can take on a second job. I'm just not. I can throw money off a bridge if I really want to get rid of it that badly. That being said, if you treat things as "casual", you do tend to have a lot more fun. It's not a big deal if you wipe. Teach the players the mechanics and go again. All you're really doing is chasing loot that's going to be invalidated in the next patch anyway. Chasing loot and titles that are going to be invalidated by the next expansion. Get on that treadmill, bruh. Meanwhile, if you are patient and teach people how mechanics work and make sure they are as good as they can be... that person will likely be your friend in the game forever. They'll be a person you return to the game to play with. A reason to keep coming back. They'll prolly run content with you at the drop of a hat too, because they would remember that you helped them out and took time to help them "get theirs". The amount of "friends" I've made online just by being patient and helpful is probably incalculable. You know, to what extent people you'll never meet in real life CAN be friends. You're playing the game for fun. The minute it becomes a job or becomes a source of anger/frustration/elitism... it's not a game for you anymore. It's an "ego boost". It's the source of your personal validation. Because you have nothing in real life to validate you and boost your ego, because you aren't good enough or smart enough or whatever else. No accomplishments in real life, so you seek them online. Players should seek validation in real life, not in a game. They should seek fun in a game. That's why it's a game.

35:10 two years to 80.. lol amateur. When I started wow, i started during cata (the cata trailer hooked me), I rolled a Worgen Hunter... I only managed to level to either hit level 53 or 58 by the time the expansion ended. Literally most of my time in cata, i spent playing in the wetlands and farming those whelplings because i learned a dragon pet can drop from them (I actually managed to get it), and after that I would go mess around in Twilight Highlands at my level of just 53 or 58, having trying to sneak around the level ??s (85+), etc, even one time managing to get myself stuck as there was a mobs surrounding one of the graveyards that would insta aggro the moment that I tried to rez that I only managed to escape after being trapped there for at least 2 days when I realized I could attempt to cry for help in guild chat, and eventually some random guildie listened to my cries for help, realized that i was indeed a low level, and i was actually in twilight highlands and decided to launch a rescue mission and came and rescued me, killed the mobs in the area and told me to hearth.. So I did (back to wetlands and right back to messing around in twilight highlands soon after ;P (learned to stay away from that graveyard/area) Then came along mist of pandaria.. and the realization that unlike Cataclysm where even as a low level I could mess around in the Cataclysm zones, I couldn't access any of the new expansion content.. so this is what pushed me to actually level up, do quests in appropriately leveled areas, do dungeons, etc. and lol it took me all the way until around the end of 5.3 to finally enter pandaria and start the questing there and it wasn't until 5.4 that I actually manage to hit a level cap (level 90), and boy did a whole new world open up to me, having made friends with a raider a bit before hitting cap (when I was ~level 75), they took me to my first ever raid (a sunwell plateau run) which i promptly was booted out of by the first boss because my pet was set to aggressive, and I had no idea you could set it to passive (it decided to attack the first boss and wipe the raid). However this friend took me under their wing, taught me everything I needed to know to become a competent player, and tell me what gear to use, what talents to use, etc, even to the point that later on, I managed to get an invite to join their guild's alt runs and cleared my very first current tier raid (Siege of Orgrimmar) even managed to clear it on Heroic, by the end of MoP i was a fully decked out 585 hunter in full enchants, gems, etc, even had my full 616 legendary cloak, and after this I found enjoyment in even doing pvp... being full heroic 585 with a 616 cloak while prideful arena players were hardstuck at 550 max, yeah it was fun ruining their day, especially in world pvp infront of orgrimmar were i could easily kill at least four to seven horde players before they could finally take me down (hunter was broken af in 5.4). So simply put, it probably took me around 3 years, over the entirety of two full expansions to finally hit max level..

The 7 year old 204 mage is very clearly fake. Maybe the base of it is true, but the part about someone gearing to 204 ilvl (without leggo) randomly spamming invites to all groups in LFG and then clowning around in them definitely did not happen. First of all the amount of runs you would actually finish and not be kicked out would be drastically low, and then with SL drop rates you'd probably see an item in 1/10 of those. To get to 204 ilvl you'd have to complete tens of 10~keys and get loot out of it. You can also only queue for up to 5 groups at once, and they usually don't decline you but keep you in a limbo. It may take literal hours to get into a 10 key even for people with decent rio. No way is someone clowning like that getting invited anywhere, and for sure not 20 times.
