I offered a lift to a lady into town 20 years ago. I played this song and the lady didn't want to come out of the car requesting an encore. LOL

What a beautiful song that captures truth of history and the antipathy of too many people that are apathetic to Jesus’s crucifixion for us .Bob’s voice cries for everyone’s salvation !✝️.Awesome

My pops let him rest in peace. He owned 20, 30 or more records. There were two I heard the most. Slow train coming and the incredible string band wee tam. Every Sunday after church. Thanks Dad just had to give you props for that. Haven't been to church since. LOL. But can't get enough of Bob or the Incredible

... Back in the 80s, I had an underground comic book, that had as a character,..." the little virgin boy with his collection of Bob Dylan albums"......... he always carried an armload of these thirty-three-and-a-third thirty-three-and-a-third albums with him wherever he went.

Absolutely at a loss of words.. this version is like cocaine for my spirit .(the Effect) the change of tempo, heavier drums & percussion, guitar licks twang like the strings are made of Angel's hair & the backing vocals are like baby's Breath. The best thing about this live version is how obvious it is that Dylan is into the song, feeling every word through his pores as if he is in a hot spring. Slow Train... what an amazing Album. Zimmy Your The BEST!!!!

amazing. thanks so much for posting. i love this version more than the album track. tho, "lamp", not "lamb." but i think this is why bob said that the great performances of his songs are heard on stages throughout the world rather than on albums.

Fire from YAH through Bob Dylan. Wild worship probably only like this seen before in the lifetime of this famous ancestor of Dylan. King David. I guess a lot is all in the family. Bob Dylan to this day is singing his songs about The Saviour. Look up his set list of the last couple of years (and also this year when he was in Spain). You will find that he always sings "Gotta serve Somebody" and "Every grain of Sand". Dylan never made it a secret that he is a Bible believing man. Another favorite song of him is "All along the Watchtower". Very spiritual song as well about the war at Har Meggido (Armageddon). Dylan the great songwriter stepped in the footsteps of his ancestor king David.

I'm not glad to say this but here it is. For the first time hearing this version and not the one on Slowtrain album, I didn't like what I heard other than the lyrics. I'm not surprised that this new knowing or process is not a glad one. Just trying to keep real.
