I just sewed up my precious fabric this weekend. I made the Holland Park dress by Nina Lee. Using fabric from a SHJ box. I am in the US and know I couldn't purchase more of this fabric and that made is precious. It was the floral viscous twill from4 months ago. It was dream to sew with. I just need to take pictures.

A Saltwater Slip and Donny shirt will look fabulous in the fabric from the girls. I think you’re right to wait on your other precious fabrics until you’re sure of the patterns. I have a few precious fabrics and am trying to decide which one to choose for the challenge. Happy sewing, Tamlyn!

Yes you should do 2 of your favourite patterns in your precious fabric - absolutely ideal. I think the first 2 fabrics call for quite dramatic garments large shirts or a duster coat or a maxi dress so that their pattern stays in tact especially the first one.😎❤

Your plans sound perfect! Now I'm thinking of making a short saltwater with a small bit of fabric I have tucked away. I have actually made my precious fabric for the challenge into a saltwater slip dress. I only had two yards and held onto it forever because I really wanted to make a dress with it, but never had enough yardage. I fell in love with the saltwater this summer and now this dress makes number three!

My thought for the first fabric is a dove stone dress! You may even be able to cut the front on the fold to retain the print in tact

This is my first time watching, love your fabrics. My first thought for the friend fabric was some sort of sheath dress for sure, love your plan for dress and Donny shirt. Most definitely get hubby fabric sewn up asap- must encourage such sweetness! Lastly, my thought for your Australian fabric would be a casual jacket, oversized bomber,maybe? My first thought for the first fabric was some kind of co-ord set with long floaty wide leg trousers and a button down shirt. It would be super chic for going out in, but if you do an elastic waist... total secret pyjamas! I also think the same plan could work for your gorgeous Cloth Edit fabric if you have enough. Love your plans for the fabric you've decided to use. Can't wait to see how they turn out. 💙

I LOVE the first fabric from Rainbow prints and I think a dress would be a much better use of the fabric. You could make a long sleeve dress for the fall/winter that would show case the print beautifully. Unfortunately, I don’t have a recommendation for a pattern😏. Happy sewing!
