The farmer today has a problem. two many sources of data not related, just watch tractor videos where their is multiple ip pads showing sensor data from various vendors, For,me i want the data going to my control,system so that i can schedule irrigation. Consider this, every irrigation pivot, every tractor and every grain bin,is an edhe system. information id collected at local level and the aggrehated and then sent to cloud level. clould level systems are for cross site analysis,

So all someone needs to do is make an open source version with off the shelf parts and put the designs out for free. If its built ina modular way you could just build whatever platform you need for your specific farm and pipe all that data into something you can launch on a local network
