The best part of this video is that they use a crush washer. In the efab hybrid description, it says specifically not to use a crush washer. Good oversight brownells...

I bought and installed the 30 Cal EFAB on my 6.8 SPC-II and I am certainly satisfied, about a 50% reduction of felt recoil and very little Back Blast or Concussion felt by the shooter, can't say much about flash suppression I have never tried it at dark. A little on the pricy side but I myself think it's well worth it. By the way I did use the accu - washer set to install the Brake and found them an excellent product and easy to use

Yeah i have the efab not the afab on my 556 carbine and i love it. They say efab for longer barrels afab for shorter barrels. It definitely reduced recoil and muzzle rise. I like shooting fast and wanted a muzzle to help stay on target a little easier. The most important factor in the efab for me is its barely louder than a standard a2 hider. I did not want to be the jerk at a range with the comp you can feel in your chest!

You have it backwards: The AFAB is best for 16" barrels or longer, while the EFAB does much better for 10-16" barrels. I have an AFAB mounted on my "modern" Mk12 18" build, and an EFAB for my 10.5" build. Both of them are excellent. These devices are more expensive than many other brakes/comps, but you get what you pay for with these. The engineering and quality machining is top-notch. I say that because they promise to be a brake, comp, and a flash hider all in one, and so far these are the ONLY devices that I have used that legitimately do all three of those things very well. With the exception of firing suppressed, I will never build another AR without using the AFAB or EFAB, depending on barrel length. Side note: You really should use the precision Accu-waahers with these. They are great for getting perfect timing, and also they ensure the muzzle device is perfectly straight. The AFAB and EFAB both have 10 internal baffles that run just as tight or close enough of clearance to the bullet as a suppressor does, so you want to make sure that it is aligned as perfectly straight as possible. Also with my 18" (full rifle length gas system, DI) with the AFAB, I noticed a slight increase in pressure coming back through the gas tube which was starting to bottom out my BCG/buffer before I re-tuned my AGB.

@@Fister_of_Muppets How can you put the afab on a .308? You have to use the efab
