Meath dairy farmer David Kiernan calls Precision Microbes an ‘appetiser’ that keeps the food and fluid into the calves. David runs a split calving robotic milking system near Navan, Co. Meath. In the Autumn he had concerns with crypto and calves with poor thrive. David goes onto say ‘’sick calves are very time consuming, and often they’re not fit to sell” David used Precision Microbes on the sick calves at 60mls per hd/day. He noticed their appetite came back and they started feeding again. For calves this Spring, he’s feeding preventatively from birth at a rate of 30ml/head for 30 days.
Precision Microbes is exclusively available through your local vet.
