Thanks bro. I like your videos because you keep it simple. I have a standing bag and it’s harder to put those combinations together because the bag doesn’t swing with a steady rhythm. It just moved across the floor. Therefore, I’m always chasing it.

Hi Jason. Super. I already do the 3' min drill with the fast punching, the one with fists somewhere between hook and shovel hook stance it is super. I am starting this heavy bag drill also, as well as the combos while doing abs. Superb combos even for heavy bag work out, i refer to the 8 combos mixted with the abs interval. Nate Bower's interval heavy bag workout is great but yours is more intense and much more technical in my humble opinion. Great, ai put them all together later today after the 5 round conditioning drills you didi at a rooftop. I think it is more than enough for a begginer, and afterthe heavy bag i will take a 2 mile run with slow jog with 10 sec. sprint burts between, and i will stick to this until my gym is open again..tnx foreverything.

I have a routine. I have 8 four point combinations, four in south paw and four in traditional stance. I do 25 times every combinations and I start over, every training is 25-30 minutes. One day I’m concentrating on movement, one day on power. The third day I’m doing 50 of every combinations. Three days a week. It helped me a lot to be effective in sparring. It’s like my body knows what to do in every situation.

Hey, Coach, have you ever used the Corner boxing trackers? After watching your 4,000 punch workout video, I'd like to invest in a pair of trackers but I'm on the fence about whether to use Corner or the Everlast PIQ that you used in the video. Why do my fingers hurt when punching bag even though I have wraps and gloves on ?
@peterwilliams66333 жыл бұрын
Are you clenching your fist before impact? Correct technique spreads the load across the knuckles, so poor technique can cause injuries. Look at some gel pads under your wraps
@salehaffan26083 жыл бұрын
@@peterwilliams6633 i clench right after wearing gloves until i finish. Is it wrong ?
@salehaffan26083 жыл бұрын
@@peterwilliams6633 or is it because im new to this, i just started this week
@peterwilliams66333 жыл бұрын
@@salehaffan2608 couple of different trains of thought on this one. In general you don't clench your fist until you're ready to punch cause it saps energy. Some recommend throwing the punch and clenching just before impact, but the downside is if the target moves you may hit with unclenched fist and injure youself. So another option is to stay relaxed and clench prior to throwing.🙂
