You would enjoy that one nt I was out on the driveway with my husband and had a klaus G30 and was just sort of goofing around to see how far I could see with it and a plane flew overhead as we are about 10 miles from the airport. Well I turned the light up towards the sky on flash mode and never thought the plane could see that but my husband said, you better not do that.. they may be able to see it and think you are signalling. Well after seeing your drone video I think that is not impossible after all! Glad my husband knew to tell me to quit! Duh!

I ordered K70 today and I can't wait for it... I chose between K70 and ThruNite TN42. TN42 is slighty better thrower, but I read relatively a lot negative comments about quality and customer service. And magnetic ring control on K70 is amazing. I hope, K70 arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday... :-)

Hi ATREY178 I am really glad you found this video helpful in your decision!! The K70 is an amazing light and I like that it has the magnetic ring and the momentary switch on the bottom being able to turn it on momentarily without having to fully press to turn it on and off I think you will find quite useful!!! Let me know your thoughts after you received your K70 and had some time to use it thanks!!

Oh sorry. I ordered K70 before I saw Your video. But I have it now, and it's fantastic flashlight. I have Olight M3XS-UT to, but K70 is simply on another level. Beam is slighty wider, than Olight, but intezity is insane. 250,000cdl and 422,000cdl is just "little" difference. Same as 1200lm and 2600lm. And magnetic control ring is super idea and is very usable. I'm very satisfied with this torch... But only one thing is little suspect for me. According to the technical specifications from Cree pages, XHP35 HI LED have only 1470lm on max. And K70 have near 2x more... I asked Acebeam for this, but I have no answer from them.

Hey MannyScoot funny you should ask I have the. Video 75% done but when I went to film the beam shots last night I ran into several issues including Rain (not an issue for the flashlights but the camera) technical issues with the camera App (kept crashing) and after numerous takes the batteries for the x80 had to be recharged! So I will reattempt tonight! I believe I have solved the technical issues and should be good to go tonight!! So hopefully the video will be up by tomorrow! Thanks!

Get a Nikon D5 and that will solve the weather issues....... ha

In the future I plan too! The camera I am using does have a waterproof case but it muffles up the audio when in it so I had taken it out to film!

I wouldn't trust buying batteries from Amazon under no circumstance. If you want high drain authentic batteries I suggest illumn.com and mountain electronics. The LG HE2 & HE4 are good and also the Samsung 25R. There's only a few manufactures so if you buy batteries that aren't Panasonic, Sanyo, LG, Sony or Samsung then they are just lower quality rewraps of those models.
