Questions, when you put the LED lights, which way the orientation of the LED diodes should be facing? up & down or side to side? I heard many conflicting views about this, some say say it should face side to side and others say, it should be up and down. Thanks
@PrecisionLED7 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your interest. It can indeed vary depending on vehicle. In most cases, it faces up/down. I do believe in the 2007+ Lancer, the LED should be facing directly up.

Only thing missing was a before and after. Curious to see how much brightness over stock/ upgrade bulb. Can anyone comment on how much difference they make?? I upgraded bulbs but they aren't what im looking for so I may try this. Any risk of melting the headlight like with some HID kits? I know there LEDs but still felt I should ask before purchase. Don't want to screw up my warranty. Thumbs up install video!
@PrecisionLED7 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your interest. We will keep in mind before/after photos for future shoots. Also, upgrading to LEDs would be 2-3x better nighttime driving visibility. Also, Our LED lights absolutely do not melt or damage any part of your low beam/fog light housing or your vehicle in general. Our kits (35W) run at a lower temperature than your OEM lights (55W). We do not sell nor recommend 55W kits because of an increase in fire risk. All the horror stories you hear online of headlights melting is due to higher wattage HID or LED kits. They operate at much higher temperatures than what your headlight is designed for. A 35W kit gives 3 time more brightness than a halogen bulb but operates at a lower temperature. The slight increase in brightness offered by a 55W kit is not a good tradeoff for the safety risk. Lastly, no, upgrading your lighting will not void your vehicles warranty, as it is protected by the Magnuson-Moss Act. I have linked some information on this law below for your convenience. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions or concerns. Sincerely, Brent @ PLED www.impalaclub.com/naisso/magmoss.htm

PrecisionLED Thanks for the response. I will be looking into these asap. I could really use these and didn't want to risk upgraded bulbs like Ive had to do in the past. do they glare others ?
@PrecisionLED7 жыл бұрын
There are many factors and many upgrades to headlight housings over the years that help mitigate any glare to oncoming drivers. It is more or less the color of the light which causes distraction and not the actual brightness intensity itself. If you notice, the most distracting lights to see on the road are the blue HID lights which cause a lot of glare for the human eye, whereas you probably never noticed the 6000K or 8000K lights on the road because they are more natural to the human eye.
