I have the same motor on a swamp runner kit. I have it on a 1648 and I run up the Cahaba river here in Centreville Alabama.

That is a beautiful looking river! I would love to get up there one day. I've never been in any kind of Rocky River with my long tail but it looks like fun. How does it perform with that 1648 I'm sure it's a lot heavier than my 1436 lol?

It does well don't know top speed but we can load it down with 2 230 lb men and 3 catfish boxes with 5 gallons of cheese and it pushes us pretty good. Speaking on the rocks they all end in Centreville right behind my house. South of here there are no big rocks only sand and pea gravel. They say where the big rocks end is the last stretch of the Appalachian foothills
