Sorry Tim, Nothing beats a Honda. You can go cheap up front but will pay in the long run just like a Honda car. Honda is the #1 maker of engines in the WORLD!

All, I can tell you is that thing has ran for hours and hours and never missed a beat. 111 hours is a lot of hours. Took care of me when I sheltered in place from the hurricanes and took care of me out in the desert on this trip or I didn’t have full hook ups. And could barely hear it running inside the camper. The only thing I got was enjoyment of air-conditioning microwave lights, etc she’s a good girl. 😂🎄😎

My grandfather was the type of guy that only liked to buy made in the USA but he swore by Honda he had generators, 3 and 4 wheelers and there is something to that because we never had a problem with any of them.

Honda is not what it used to be, especially in small engines.

Not practical for most. Honda inverter generator models don't offer an in-between model like the Predator 5000. They go from 3000 watt and jump to 7000 watt models with the weight of about 250 lbs for the 7000. For the price of a Honda I could buy 3 predator 5000's and keep two in the box if the first one fails.

I know it shuts off if there’s carbon monoxide and it’s not in an open area that’s clear. 😎

Oil change absorbing mat at Walmart is about 11 bucks. I use it when I change oil in my Lawn tractor.

Did you run that generator for about 10 min before you changed the oil? That will warm the oil up and help it drain a little faster when you change the oil.

Y'all know ol Bubba is a oil change freak. Almost 60 yrs spinning wrenches, started as kids in 60s on our bikes+ mowers, then up the ladder,clean oil is lifeblood of engines, especially modern engines. Great video, for new Glampers, and, it's winter yesterday,lots of people brand new to generators buying em, for potential power outages. Get a magnetic Dipstick, to catch stray metal fragments, since most of these portable generators don't have oil filter. Change oil before it's black, that's dirty oil with gasoline/ carbon buildup.

6/10 qt is 19.2 oz. . Check and see how many oz come out next time. I have an old dollar tree measuring cup that I use for oil changes like this.

Synthetic oil doesn’t cost much more and works great in small engines. I buy the super tech brand full synthetic oil at Walmart 10w30 for my lawn tractors works great.

Absolutely she’s a good girl. It’s a generator that battery is only just started with the key fob and the electric start. Also, it sat quite a while in between my last use, and that battery spun that motor over like a top. 😎
