Predator 670 Spark Plug Testing

So we where having issues with the factory Torch plugs fouling out on us due to multiple things like Clogged main jets, Factory fuel pump, Coil failure, pilot air screw adjustment or carburetor bowl float sticking.
So we change out the Factory Torch Plugs with NGK's, E3 & Autolite 3910X Race plugs and show you if there is a difference in how it runs.
The E3 plugs most defiantly ran better over the NGK's, However we still could not get the V Twin to run properly at higher RPM's (3400-4500).
We ended up not running the Autolite Race plugs, we will save this for the Predator 212 build.

Looks a bit rich. Does it bog like that with the OEM jets? I have my OEM carb nearly turned but it sounds like you’re getting too much fuel on 3/4+ throttle which is where the main jets kick in.

I never ended up fixing it, I believe I had a vacuum issue somewhere. I got another motor. I tried it all and said screw it and warranted my motor out.

to me looked to be running good. You need a hot plug in those the governor cuts out at 3600 3800 anything over 4 or 4500 the valves start to float and you dont burn your gases you need heavier valve springs for rpm over 4000 that tan color is perfect you want slightly rich on any air cooled engine that's what cools the inside is the gas.

i adjusted the entire carb and runs like a raped date. only time I have an issue is when it ildes for a long time it will foul the plugs.
