Predator 9500 Generator CO carbon monoxide sensor bypass

Damn, thanks man. We lost power and then our generator wouldn’t start - there’s a family here whose thanksgiving you saved! 🙏 On my 9500 the wires were white and yellow/green. Joined them and works like a charm!

Just tried this fix for the carbon monoxide sensor bypass and it absolutely worked. I ran the generator for nine hours straight. The carbon monoxide sensor did go off at one point with the light blinking red, but the generator did not turn off.

I have just tried this bypass tip cutting the wires and connecting the white wire to the black wire did allow me to start the generator right up with no issues. I plan to run it for 10+ hours and I will let you know afterwards if the carbon monoxide sensor was truly disabled from shutting off the generator

Unit shutting off outside......mine does the same thing. These sensors are too sensitive and the only way these units stay running even outside is id there's wind blowing.

@@bparsons72007 Same problem here. I have two 9500s with a custom-made parallel kit and both of them shut off way too frequently causing me to lose power to my food truck. I am about to switch to the new DuroMax 16000 watt inverter generators when they come out later this year. These are too unreliable for food trucks.
