Man the F7A is cool, wish it wasn't so terrible to get, I gave up when the game wanted me to kill 5 hammerheads and god knows how many fighters like 8 times

yeah it was best to do that mission when it first became a thing because the mission is completely public, i did it with a friend, we both were in the pre nerf ion tho. to bad ion sucks for fighting small ships now. there was also 2 randoms one was in an a2 and the other had a corsair.

@@liamseven1604 I find the Ion actually usable in PvE vs Small ships. You blast those Gladius in 1 Shot and the Cutty's usally take 3-4. Xenothreat is pretty doable Solo in it tbh, even the HHs. The Inferno has a lower kill time on the HHs but is limited on Ammo which is not enough for a full clear ofc. It sure sucks now but its doable

I've used the Dominance Laser Scatterguns on my Hornet Ghost, and they shred VHRTs and even ERTs, and no need to worry about ammo. I can only imagine how satisfying it would be to have them on the Mk II. Dominance are great fun if you want to punch way above your weight class.

Talon NPCs are very rough to fight with slower ships :D I personally fitted my Constellation with a mixed loadout the other day, two size 5 las cannons two size 5 ballistics, seems to dispatch enemies with ease, unless they start to turn around me. Shotgun equipped ships/planes are always interesting to see. EDIT: And wooo that distribution center mission made me wonder how cool it would be to deploy some people on foot while flying cover from a Valkyrie :3

if you get into a rate of turn fight then turn on your gimbals. I fly the Corsair daily and especially when fighting players in fighters, gimbals work a treat because the guns can turn faster than the nose of the ship. It lowers the rate of fire but with cannons as big as ours, it doesn't matter because they'll bite the dust in a few shots. Enabling stagger fire with cannons helps a lot with agile ships as well but you need to map that.

@@iKennectz Drives me nuts how some ships have stagger fire switches/lag pip switches IN THE SHIP, but then we have the F7A which is brand new, and lacks anything but the bare essentials, on the flight console.

I feel you. I've put in like 5 hours a day trying to get it done before patch and it's so buggy I can't get it so far. Really disappointed since I only fly my F7A and have religiously stuck with it since I joined in patch 3.15

I have always wanted a good ground effect weapon that I can mount on the side turrets of my Corsair. These seem like they will be too inaccurate to use if I'm circling an area at 1000 meters, but perhaps I will give them a try anyway!

Yeah, if close range the domiance-3 laser scatter gun is a great anti-personal weapon on the hornets. don't have to worry about reload.

i did this soon as i got the upgrade.. it was awful. It suck that the cooler looking guns are worthless due to CIG being incapable of balancing. Meanwhile the M-class cannons can kill a ship in 1 mag and large ships pretty quick even with ony 7 shots

An idea for a video. How do the diffrent ship weapons sound on the recieving end? Hits and close misses, from inside and outside. I began wondering because I never was attacked with Strifes before and I can't test myself since I have only one account with a game package ... and only one PC, which is the bigger hurdle when thinking about it.

This ship will not be in-game purchase, it can only be earned through the Overdrive initiative event.

Hovering like that to kill infantry on the ground will be almost impossible with the new atmospheric flight system (seen at the citizencon) only VTOL ship will be able to do that.

Been using the 4 laser scatterguns and 2 size 4 ballistic cannons on mine and they can easily blow through erts. I have a few clips and shorts on my channel of my loadout, and it works good on fighters, check em out. Dont wanna link videos into your comments lol.

They Nerfed the Ballistics SSSOOOOOOO Bad. I think if they wanted to tone it down a bit, sure a lot shield absorption would have been fine, but damn, they don't do NEARLY as much and it sucks.

yeah, ballistics are mostly for show, looks nice, but not much damage.

yeah the 50-58% physical damage reduction they added to all ships is basically a shadownerf since that obviously doesn't show in the weapon stats.

Way too much ammo required for a valkyrie, ammo count on this weapon system needs to be increased by a lot, like 500+ ammo per cannon. They also need to really implement control surfaces for atmospheric flight, this thing has two full wings plus the rear canard looking little wings, this ship should be super maneuverable in atmopshere, instead as soon as your are on a main planet it flies like a brick.
