Like i already feel like Batman should’ve been able to drop even the best of the best Predators in a few moves given the shit he does but as much as I liked the wolverine one in concept I just thought it was ridiculous bc pre weapon x wolverine should realistically body a dozen Predators at once. Not every species has the heart in the same place. Physiology dictates that every other species has different placement. A cow has 3 stomachs, in theory, a cow incubated alien should find better nutrients incubating and find exit from 3 of the stomachs , that's 3 aliens per cow.

I have a feeling it was given to them as a gift or trade by a more advanced but non-war like species. Yautja do not seem like the kind of species to have developed such technology while continue to be a hunting species.

It doesnt seem like that would leave alot of time for other skills. If they do have blacksmiths or tech researchers then Im wrong, but i would like to see that brought up in the future. I still like the idea the Yautja were given technology like replicators for their services of being a warrior specie, and they are able to produce their weapons and gear, and are able to adapt such technology to other species like Humans.

I really like Predator 2 when it released and one day I saw the novelization at the book store. The author had a number of interesting passages written from the Predator's thoughts and viewpoint where it explains their society, their psychology, the rituals, what they made of human beings in general, and why they hunted us, and it was fascinating. Unfortunately the books out of print and no e-books of it are out there of it either.

Unfortunately with the movies they kinda drove the series into the ground IMO . Anything after the first O.G. two were subpar . AVP was ok I guess but the one with the mixed breed alien and predator was stupid , then the one where humans get dropped off on some remote planet and a whole clan is hunting then didn't totally suck but could have been way better . Predator has been one of those things on film fizzled out IMO but with books , comics , toys , etc they really shined and there name and lore was born. I agree that a proper AVP movie would be bad ass . There supposedly making a new new movie last I heard .

It seems a lot of people here have never read the actual books that explore, and indeed the canonical background via Foster/Lebbon(Alien/Xenomorph lore) and then Perry/Bischoff et al expanding the canon simultaneously to fill the AVP universe story. If you haven't explored *Da'dtou-di's* aka Michiko storyline in the 3 original AvP novels then you haven't even begun to explore this lore.

Much much better than the "every exotically grotesque predator" video. A pleasure to watch and learn about the lore. I could barely finish the other video and almost ignored the channel after watching it. Thankfully i gave it one more shot and was surprised by this videos quality. Perhaps you should redo the voice over of that other video? Its so bad it almost lost you a potential viewer. Just saying. Not that i think you should care too much what i think but i would guess im not alone in finding that other video awkward and hard to watch. Felt like it was aimed at a child for a bed time story!! This feels like its an adults explanation.

Regarding the 4-armed Predator, I think it was just an unconcerned comic writer with little regard for the property.

Four armed predator: No way that any yautja would create(for itself), just to hunt, an "abomination." There is no honor trophy worth it. I believe this is proven by the aforementioned predalien's end. My theory is far more simple. A bad blood would have no qualms, lacking honor, in giving itself an advantage over those hunting it. It also explains the aggressive and lawless behavior.

AVP was kinda confusing for me. Where were they going to get the Xenomorphs for the Youngbloods training? The researchers wouldn’t have been trapped in the room if the Pred guns hadn’t been tampered with. Did they just guess that some humans would be wandering around? That place had been deserted for decades. I’m sure they didn’t know Weiland personally so they didn’t know his agenda. Maybe they saw the ship and thought this would be a good time for some training? We’re they going to ambush the ship and force the crew into the sacrificial chamber? Also being a woman myself,that kick from Chopper would of broken some ribs or knock the breath out of me so I couldn’t move.
