Hey Rod, finally an unbxing video again...the gourami from minute 15:14 is Trichopodus(Trichogaster) trichopterus & not an Osphronemus gourami. (I'm sure you've noticed by now, too, I think) 😉 A little fun fact on the side: Vieja breidohri, or "Angostura cichlid" is named after my good friend, the German aquarist Hans Georg Breidohr (died 10/2015), who had undertaken numerous expeditions to Central and South America over the years. Can I ask why the fish that come with ice to keep water cold are put in your tanks and acclimated to warmer water. Are they ok to live in warmer water? I suppose if they do not do well you can slowly cool the water down for them?

Just a word of advice obviously fish don’t have eye lids, I recommend light acclimating the fish when they arrive. Being in pitch black boxes then all of a sudden bang light can shock the fish.

That drip system to get them acclimated has BAD drawbacks... Rod you need to look into other methods if you're losing fish at all...

Wouldn't sell the Moray eels as "freshwater", these Moray eels in the wild enter fresh water as young and will stay in freshwater for sevral years till they mature, they will migrate to Brackish or Marine waters as they mature for breeding. So it's best to do the same in captivity to keep them at there best, so the young would be okay in freshwater, but as they mature they should be kept as brackish or marine, freshwater shouldn't be a long term thing.
